What is environment impact ?
 An environmental impact is defined as any change to the
environment like – weather adverse or beneficial
 or
 The effect that purples is action have on environmental
z
Impact of Aquaculture
Aquaculture system depend on the use of
Natural waters and food chain.
Large amount of residual feeds and the
Excrements of aquatic animal all impact the water
Environmental .This can deplete the water
Of oxygen, creating algal blooms and dead zone.
z
Effecting factor for aquaculture
 १) Aquaculture waste
 *Uneaten fish food & Fecal and others
 * excreatory waste
 *Source of nutrient pollution algal blooms
 * fish kills ,contaminate shellfish and pose a health
 *aquaculture chemicals in food harm humans
z
Chemical and
pathogen waste
 Chemical and drug are used in aquaculture for
 Fish health.
 Management apart from antibiotics
 Examples- sodium chloride , formalin,methylene blue
 Potassium permaganate,hydrogen per oxide.
 * Pathogen waste – where are organic fertilizers used in
aquaculture
z Prevention and controle
 Reducing nutrient and chemical pollution –
* use feed designed to protect the environment
*Low fishmeal content
*minimize fish wastes
*Raise fish together with molluks or
Hydroponic vegetables
*minimize farm waste
z
Conclusion
 * Aquaculture facilities constructed without environment
 * Protection in mind can causes serious environment
* make fish farming enivromentally sound.
*acceptable by the wider public and more productive
