General Objectives : The General Objective of this report is to
provide SME Loan Management of Exim Bank Limited. The all
activities of this report to focus on SME Loan Management of
Exim Bank Limited.
Specific Objectives : To Understand the banking industry’s

Product Portfolio of Exim Bank By BCG Model
• 1. Question Mark- Question mark is also known as problem children. According to my study
ATM booths of Exim Bank Limited falls in this category.
• 2. Stars-Stars generate cash in the rapidly growing industry however investments and
strategies is required to maintain the position. Exim Bank Limited Current Account: Al-Wadia
Current Deposit is performing very well.
• 3. Cash Cows-Cash Cow is where a company has high market share in a slow-growing
industry. Exim Bank Limited Term Deposit (STD) Account: Mudaraba Term Deposit Receipt
And Savings Account: Mudaraba Saving Deposit accounts are this type of category.
• 4. Dogs- It grows rapidly and thus consumers are large amount of cash, but they have low
market share. Dogs have low market share and low growth rate. Here, Krishi & Sowpno

• Government has been controlling industrial credit.

1.Exim Uddyog : Uddyog is a business investment Scheme which
start from BDT 2 Lac to 10 Lac. to meet any kind of business
needs.
• Easy Installment.
• Investment Processing is easy.
Eligibility:
• At least two or more years has been working and any kind of
business having valid trade licence
• Sole Proprietorship or Partnership
• Small Sized Business( Production, Trading, Service, Agro-based
products,and others)
• Enterprise of entrepreneur.
Types of SME Investment
2.Exim Abalamban : Abalamban is a small scaled business investment scheme
for operating and extending small and medium level business and industries .
• Facility of repayment at a time or installments according to the return of
business.
• As low as 10% interest rate .
• Provide investment facility in a easiest way.
Eligibility:
• At least 3 years has been working and any kind of business having valid trade
license.
• Those who have land/building/Property.
• Expertise of entrepreneur.
• Annual transaction and income.
Terms and Conditions of SME Investment
• The Prospective borrowers and enterprises have to fulfill the
selection criteria.
• The Investment amount is between Tk.2lacs to 10 lacs.
Investment can be repaid in two ways-(a) In equal monthly investment
installment with monthly interest payment or
(b)By one single payment at maturity, with interest repayable a quarter end
remaining on maturity.

Conclusion and Recommendation
• The SME investment plays a great role of banks profitability. So
EXIMBL Should more careful on SME Investment.
• To increase the level of customer satisfaction the bank should
provide incentives SME products .
• Exim Bank Should focus on encouraging more women entrepr
eneurs for SME investment. EXIMBL should also provide
investment facility to women entrepreneurs with easy provision
continuously.
