The Internet of Things (IoT), is defined as the network of physical objects—devices, vehicles, buildings and other items—embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity that enables these objects to collect and exchange data.
Most of the developing nations have experienced slavery and doing services for other lands, and have not experienced the Services for themselves. Here is a presentation that I used to speak about 'Realizing the Potential of a Connected World' at Indian Technology Congress 2017, especially for the developing countries.
However, the presentation itself is not specific to the developing countries except a couple of slides.

This presentation was delivered during Realty 2015 in Brussels at the debate afternoon of IFMA Belgium Chapter and Real Estate Society (RES).
It aims to give an overview of development of building automation and how buildings are becoming a fully two-way integrated part of the grid, a component in the Internet of Things.
Next discussed is the resulting wealth of Big Data and data-analytics that can be applied towards more sustainable and more efficient use of the building, it’s facilities and it’s users.
Finally a view is given on how that (should) impact(s) the role of Facility Managers.
Presentation by Bob Sutor at the International Association of Privacy Professionals in Washington, DC USA, on March 6, 2014. This short presentation was meant to stimulate ideas that would then be complemented by discussions about privacy policies as it relates to Big Data, and in that sense is not complete regarding all aspects of privacy that come from the issues discussed.
Context for panel discussion on Smart Cities, Smart Buildings and the value of the Internet of Everything. Panel included BMO Financial, Oxford Properites, Jones Lang Lasalle.

DEBATNAMIDDAG IFMA ''Intelligente gebouwen'' - 19 mei 2015 - Realty T&T
In this presentation, Shivani introduces IoT and associated trends. Shivani describes what seems like a very interesting future to have with mobile as the gateway to a smart home.

IoT state of the art - survey of IoT and its impact on Big Data - Presented for the Big Data Florida / Central Florida Machine Learning event at Florida Institute of Technology on Feb 13th 2017 by Karl Seiler
In the coming years, IoT will look completely different than it does today. IoT is a greenfield market.
New players, with new business models, approaches, and solutions, can appear out of nowhere and overtake incumbents.
The internet of things will lead to a computing experience that is vastly different from what we have today. What will this experience be like and what will the architecture of an internet with trillions of nodes be like? This talk combines a look at this inevitable future with a discussion of some very practical experiments going on right now.

The possibilities that IoT brings to the table are endless.
IoT continues its run as one of the most popular technology buzzwords of the year, and now the new phase of IoT is pushing everyone to ask hard questions about the data collected by all devices and sensors of IoT.

Cisco IoT for Vietnam CIO Community - 2 Apr 2015 - splitSon Phan
