  2. 6 marathons b2b across the sahara Easy bit – the double – And 4 marathons into it – I broke – stars out/laser Battled two vicious sandstorms that day – I had sand in place I dint even know were places My feet were ripped to shreds. Hands up – how many people think they could do that Now trick question – as that mental but I said think they could not – if you wanted too Because anyone could…. Just like any one can build a succesful bsuiness with the right guidance But if you get ceratin part of this wrong, like wrong kit, wrong nutrition, didn’t train enough – you can die – just like your business can
  3. I crossed the finish line of this on April 5th 2006, to great applause and huge pride. But what people don’t see is what happened before this. Like people see successful entrepreneurs and don’t see the miles they have walked In order to cross that line I had to WORK, I had to run in cold, wind, snow and rain I had to prepare kit miticulously, as every ounce that carried on my back mattered My feet needed to be specially prepared to minimise the brutal damange to sand would cause And this is WHY most people don’t finish it – they arnt prepared to put in the work And for those that do they ones who don’t finish usually miss a strategy or two LOADS Of people ave great ideas to run a marathon or event, very few follow through, the ones that do many many more fail Its brutal Just like business

So if we can dial in those two strategies we can actually create the business we intended to build and minimise failure rates MASSIVELY Whats stopping you in business – LEARNING – You don’t know what you don’t know Just moved you from unconciosu incompetance to concious incompetance You need to learn this stuff. No you can learn anything and achive anything… let me illustrate with an adventure

  14. I discovered purpose the hard way …
  15. So one of my pursuits was the Infamous Ironman – 2- 112 -26 – 17 hours - man v ironman I completed this in 2012 but what people don’t see is the three years previous As when I set out on this journey I couldn’t swim, and hadnt been on a bike since I was a kid – so I had some work to do I had to learn skills – got a swim coach – which shotcutted everything Got bike coach, got new bike, measured – right kit, right fuel… every piece needed to be dialled in Like a business you just get the bike right your screwed in an Ironman. You wont get out of the water You need to get the whole spectrum right The morning of the race YOU can learn anything – just know where your gaps are – know what you don’t know then go to work

Anything is possible in life and in business Provided you are driven by passion and purpose – have a strategy and execute it If you havent dialled in the finance and people strategy – then go learn those skills NOW – they are critical This is the age of the entrepreneur and I honour you – this is YOUR time
