  • #3 Definition of SL: Giving back to the community and volunteering wholeheartedly with time and efforts. Helping to make a difference in someone’s life.
  • #10 My skills in crafts and making puppets are horrible. The making of these puppets were really time consuming.

  • #13 1. I learned how to make puppets based on characters from a book and I learned to research information before making puppets (planning and preparing) 2. I discovered that if I listen to suggestion(s), then my puppets would not look funny. I also discovered that some projects are time consuming and some are not. So I must always find ways to finish projects before the deadline 3. I will remember to be a life-long learner. Helps a lot!
  • #14 My service-learning project help students that are visual and kinetics learners and English Language Learner. The 1st grade teacher will lend the book and puppets to other 1st grade teachers for their class.
  • #15 My service-learning project has affect my personal goals. Giving back to the community because I will continue volunteering for the next semester. Building connections/relationships with both students and teachers. Improving my skills to make puppets. Be a life-long learner
