Design Challenge For
         Change

What is our project…

• Our project was to do a jumble sale in our
  school which “Sembawang Secondary
  School” to raise funds for the Children
  Society….
The processes we took...
1st   Step….
• My group members and I together met the
  principal of our school personally to ask
  permission to carry on with our jumble
  sale…to our delight she accepted…
2nd        step
• We did speeches and
  posters to inform our
  school students,
  teachers and staffs
  about the jumble sale
  we would be
  conducting and how
  they can contribute..
4th   Step
• We collected the
  items we needed from
  teachers, staffs and
  students like bags,
  stationeries,
  accessories and
  more…
Last and final step

• We started our jumble sale
  with the help of my
  classmates and group
  members, It was really
  exciting and fun…
Our Pictures during the
     jumble sale
At last…
• We collected $329 from the jumble sale
  and went to Children Society Centre and
  gave the money as a donation…

• They were happy as they can use the
  money for the children's expenses…
Reflections..

• We are very happy that we made a
  difference in the children's lives..

• We also learnt how to work together with
  teamwork from this project…

  • 2. What is our project… • Our project was to do a jumble sale in our school which “Sembawang Secondary School” to raise funds for the Children Society….
  • 4. 1st Step…. • My group members and I together met the principal of our school personally to ask permission to carry on with our jumble sale…to our delight she accepted…
  • 5. 2nd step • We did speeches and posters to inform our school students, teachers and staffs about the jumble sale we would be conducting and how they can contribute..
  • 6. 4th Step • We collected the items we needed from teachers, staffs and students like bags, stationeries, accessories and more…
  • 7. Last and final step • We started our jumble sale with the help of my classmates and group members, It was really exciting and fun…
  • 8. Our Pictures during the jumble sale
  • 9. At last… • We collected $329 from the jumble sale and went to Children Society Centre and gave the money as a donation… • They were happy as they can use the money for the children's expenses…
  • 10. Reflections.. • We are very happy that we made a difference in the children's lives.. • We also learnt how to work together with teamwork from this project…
