Compare And Contrast Pueblo And Mississippi River Valley...
Pueblo and Mississippi River Valley Tribes Before the arrival of Europeans in 1492, many tribes had
grown and flourished in the Americas. Most tribes had their own organized governments and
religions, but some tribes occupied entire regions, such as the Pueblo tribes of the Southwest or the
Mississippi River Valley tribes, and were different from the numerous nomadic tribes. They had
extensive trade systems, sophisticated farming systems that resulted in a ready supply of food, and
thousands of citizens. The two groups had a lot in common, but they also had several differences that
distinguished them. The Pueblo tribes had a more developed sense of unity than the Mississippi River
tribes, and this unity gave them an advantage that the Mississippi ... Show more content on

In addition, each group was descended from a very large and powerful tribe that had occupied their
land before them. The Mississippi River tribes of the 1400s were descended from the powerful tribe of
Cahokia, or the mound builders. When Cahokia began to decline in the 1350s (possibly due to climate
change, more specifically a sudden drop in temperature), the group formed subdivisions with different
leaders who fought for power over the large tribe. Eventually, many of these subgroups moved to
different parts of the river with their families and a few others, forming small villages of 500 to 2,000
people. The result was many Mississippi River tribes living near each other, but not necessarily in
harmony with each other. Though these groups would trade with each other and were not openly
hostile, they never managed to regain the unity that the Cahokia tribe had possessed, and that the
Pueblo had as well. The unity of the Pueblo tribes is due at least in part to the powerful tribe that
existed before them, as well. While the Cahokia devolved into many separate tribes, creating a power
struggle that fractured the formerly strong tribe into several small rival tribes, the group who had
occupied the land where the Pueblos lived, the Anasazi, seemed to have abandoned their home
entirely. So when the Pueblo began to move in, they could start from scratch and grow together. They
had no history with each other, and so could form mutually beneficial relationships without the
prejudices held by the former members of the Cahokia tribe. Though the Pueblo people were
subdivided into many different tribes, the tribes were on good terms and stayed connected through a
variety of factors, leading to a more developed sense of unity than the Mississippi River Valley tribes

ABSTRACT
This study examines the impact of exchange rate on inflation in Nigeria economy between 1970 and
2007. We analysed the trend of inflation and exchange rate in the last 38 years by evaluating the
relationship between government expenditure, money supply, Oil revenue, exchange rate and inflation
as the dependent variables. We adopted the Augmented Dickey Fuller to carry out the ... Show more

Inflation is one of the most frequently used terms in economic discussions, yet the concept is variously
misconstrued. There are various schools of thought on inflation, but there is a consensus among
economists that inflation is a continuous rise in the prices. Simply put, inflation depicts an economist
situation where there is a general rise in prices of goods and services, continuously. It could be defined
as a continue rise in prices as measured by an index such as the consumer price index (CPI) or by the
implicit price deflator for Gross National Product (GNP). Inflation is frequently described as a state
where too much money is chasing too few goods . When there is inflation, the currency losses
purchasing power. The purchasing power of a given amount of naira (currency) will be smaller over
time when there is inflation in the economy. For instance, assuming N10.00 (Nigeria unit currency)

Freedom Of Decision Making Power
In Sweden child rearing was customarily strict, which prompted to a reactionary development of free
childhood in the 70s. Kids were allowed to settle on their own choices, so they essentially ran wild.
Different guardians jokingly called it free from Upbringing .
FreeUpbringing was overcompensation; the perfect is a balancing act. Freedomis valuable; however it
s dangerous if not adjusted with obligation. At last, free Upbringing acted to separate children s
freedom from taking liability for their activities.Employees are clearly not children, but freedomof
decision making powers to individual employees are not barrier free.
Freedom of decision making powers to individual employees varies from culture to culture, person to
person, task to task and varies among organization also with in organization hierarchy.
Freedom of decision making power can take different form from extreme to mid. An organization can
follow full autonomy or participative or full directive decision making power.
Autonomy
Autonomy is the degree to which a job provides an employee independence to schedule their work
and independence to determine the process to do the job. Larger amounts of self rule at work have
been appeared to expand work fulfilment, and in some cases, motivation to perform the job.
In traditional organizations, higher level employees had freedom of decision making. Now different
organization structure such as flatter structure in organization brings more autonomy for lower

Comparing the Concentrations of Saturated Solutions...
In this lab, lab 4.3 Comparing the Concentrations of Saturated Solutions, we set out to find and
compare the solubilities of two solids in water. In addition, we tested if solubility is a characteristic
property of a solid in a given liquid. This lab allowed us to test and use a reliable way to measure the
solubility of a solid. This lab can be replicated for any solid with the same procedure, thus it gives us a
method to calculate solubility. The two solids we tested in this experiment were NaCl (Sodium
Chloride) and NaNO3 (Sodium Nitrate). To begin the experiment, we measured 5cc of water and 5g of
NaCl and added them to a test tube. Next, we stoppered the test tube and shook vigorously for two or
three minutes. After we observed that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Six of the ten sodium chloride groups found the solubility of sodium chloride to be statistically
36g/100cc of water, with a +3g/100cc margin of error. Three of the four groups outside this margin of
error had solubilities in the forties, 42, 48, 49g/100cc. These three groups made an experimental error
that altered their results and can be excluded from our analysis of data. Another group was in the low
thirties with 30g/100cc. Yet the beginning masses that compose the solubility equations do differ. For
example, one group found that the mass of their solution was 4.21 grams, but another recorded a mass
of 5.47 grams. When it comes to the mass of the solid (solute) the former recorded a mass of 1.11
grams, the latter reported a mass of 1.38 grams. Nonetheless, they came out with the same solubility
of 34 grams per 100 cc of water. Thus we can prove that that solubility is a characteristic property.
This is because every group started with a different mass of solution and solid, but they concluded
with the same solubility (given the +3 gram margin of error and excluding outliers) or were close.
Therefore, solubility is a characteristic property. Of the eight sodium nitrate groups three of them
found statistically, with a +3g margin of error, 86g/100cc as the solubility of sodium nitrate in water.
Another group calculated the solubility to be 82, which is just below the margin of error. Two of the
eight groups

A Reflective Educator And My Pedagogical Agenda
My research during this course has allowed me to become a more reflective educator and to determine
my pedagogical agenda. While studying James A. Bank s Stages of Ethnicity and Gloria Ladson
Billings Theory of Culturally Relevant Pedagogy, I connect with NBPTS Proposition 4.B, and
discovered a truer, honest picture of myself and of where I hope to be as a future administrator
(NBPTS, 2014, p.16) The idea of cultural diversity has been part of my educational philosophy since
middle school. I grew up in a very rural area of Pickens County, SC, where I attended elementary
school with all white children. It wasn t until I went to middle school in Simpsonville, SC that I was
enrolled in classes with students of other cultural and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It was by far the best training I could have ever received. I was hired at the same school at the end of
my student teaching semester and have now been teaching for 4 years. The notion of cultural diversity
is important to me because of the amount of personal growth I have experienced by being exposed to
the diverse lives of my friends and students. My past experiences and this course have prepared me to
be a self reflecting, culturally relevant educator and administrator. I hope to use my knowledge from
this research and course to influence other educators to also create culturally relevant classrooms that
will openly welcome and embrace all students. A classroom is only truly culturally relevant when it
has student academic success, paired with a development and maintenance of cultural competence, for
which students also develop cognizance where they desire to challenge the status quo of the present
day social structure (Ladson Billings, 1995, p.160) According to Ladson Billings (1995), it is behoove
of teachers to have pedagogical excellence in good teaching, also referred to as culturally relevant
teaching with collective empowerment. Often times for students of culturally diverse backgrounds,
school is a place where they cannot be themselves. Most school s cultural norms are typically

The Importance Of Communication Skills At Work
Communication
Throughout the workplace communication and grammar is high priority. Some bosses won t even hire
people that don t have good grammar. In the WaPo article Why Can t College Graduates Write
Coherent Prose? , he states that good writers are hard to find these days and employers are in need of
good writers. People fail to realize how important good communication skills are regardless of what
career they are trying to pursue. Communication solves many problems and helps avoid confusion;
good grammar and communication skills will set a better pathway to success.
Grammar and communication at work is more critical than we think. Having good grammar will help
us be better prepared to achieve our goals. While reading Susan Adam s article Why Grammar Counts
at Work , I picked up on a few of her main reasons why having good grammar at work is crucial. She
states that having good grammar will prevent important writings from being static or dull. Another
main reason was that good grammar will help manifest how organized one can be with their intentions
and thoughts. She implies that we are most likely master our work if our sentences are organized and
structured, which ties back to her original statement of organization helping with our intentions and
thoughts. In addition to those reasons she gives us another reason why having good grammar is
important, it will help avoid sloppy work. Bosses are looking for people who take notice of what they
are writing down on paper;

The Problem Of The Cloud Environment
Migrating from any host technology into college technology can be a very cumbersome process filled
with many problems. The first problem that will be identified will be the issue of the migration as will
we utilize a disaster recovery type migration or will there be a replication. In addition to this migration
there is also the event of users and how information will be relayed from one location to another
location. When it comes to the migration aspect of the information there are many things that need to
be taken into account such as load balancing redundancy and security controls. The cloud environment
needs to be supportive of these aspects and there should be a dictation of how information is going to
be flowing throughout the environment. VPNS are utilized to their fullest within our infrastructure so
encryption is very important as firewalls are inside of our Network segregating out VLAN of VLAN
transactions as well as domain to domain transactions. Additional problem that will prove to be easy to
understand and evolve it is software and Licensing. As this is one aspect that can be overlooked from
various people however software needs to be addressed as we might decide to move to a different
software infrastructure but keeping the same infrastructure will be easy to maintain. Applications as
well as operating systems need to be addressed when it comes to this process as well. Within the cloud
the option arises that users are able to work from home but this option will

Disparate Faith Traditions
The various differences of doctrine and dogma between faith traditions are often a stumbling block for
non believers, causing them to wonder how it can be said that any one religion has is correct if there
are such a plethora of them. This essay has hopefully alleviated that stumbling block to some degree,
although no written work will ever have the capacity to remove it entirely. It has been shown that
despite the immensely different beliefs that are held by the Buddhist and Catholic traditions, there is a
surprisingly large amount of common ground in the realm of practice. While Catholics believe in a
supremely good, powerful, and knowledgeable God, Buddhists have varying beliefs about divinity.
While Buddhists firmly assert that there is no real, inner self within each individual, Catholics believe

Other cultures tend to use an indirect form of communication where their true response is embedded
in the presentation of the message. Accents and fluency problems also cause barriers as it is hard to
understand someone with a thick accent or to speak with someone who has little knowledge and
working use of a foreign language that another team member might use. The group member might
have an idea of how to say something in their head but can t find the words in another language to
share the idea (Brett, Behfar, and Kern, 2006).
Some individuals on the team might also want to be treated according to their status in the
organization. A challenge inherent in multicultural teammates is that by design, teams have a rather
flat structure. Team members from some cultures, are uncomfortable on flat teams (Brett, Behfar, and
Kern, 2006, p. 124). It is important to recognize the hierarchy structure of the country and how their
citizens handle conflict before conducting business with them. Lastly, different cultures have
conflicting norms when it comes to decision making. Some cultures like to make decisions quickly
while others want to think about the decision and analyze it before coming to a conclusion as far as
action to take (Brett, Behfar, and Kern, 2006).
There are four strategies, according to Brett,

been one of the many efforts to improve patient outcome and system performance as well as improve
professional development. (Batalden and Davidoff, 2007, p.2) Although the effort of health care
professionals is an extreme asset to health care quality improvement, the improvement of systems and

Introduction The Wawa Food Market chain is a privately held company that offers built to order foods,

class is the richest among other big nations. Since 2000, median income in Canada has grown 19.7%,
compared to the 0.3% growth in the United States. Since Canada has taken aggressive steps to raise

Wawa has been seen as having a weak cost structure and having a lack of presence online as two of
their main weaknesses. The one thing you have to consider while talking about cost structure is the
quality of the product. Although Wawa is seen as having higher prices they also provide food and
services that go far beyond any top competitor in the market. A weak online presence is not good for a
company because it results in lost opportunities. Online marketing is a huge part of business these
days, and Wawa s lack thereof may be the cause of no knowledge about the store in Canada. Social
media and online advertisement goes a long way with how prevalent people are on computers.
The online market offers Wawa great opportunity for expansion. The amazing thing about the online
market is that you can advertise to a much wider group of people for less expense than alternate ways.
This would be a great way to spread awareness of the company before transitioning into a new
economy where Wawa is unknown. Another great opportunity that has come with the upbringing of

An Interview to Compare Adult Learners
The purpose of this 10 minutes interview with three different individuals in age ranges of 20 s, 40 s,
and 60 s is simply to give me a better understanding of how and where adult education practices. With
the use of some questionnaires, the three interviews have shown that in different age ranges view
learning differently. Everyone can learn new ideas and concepts even with age differences and
economic status but, what needs to be learned and the purpose of learning are different depending on
the age of an individual. The ability to keep information within an individual also differs due to aging.
The interview clearly shows that as an individual age, the ability to remember facts, dates, and names
decline and memory storage is not functional as it used to be. Therefore, one needs to understand the
age range of people encountered in life especially in regards to learning so that effective strategies
could be implemented.
A Comparison of Adult Learners On March 10, 2014, the interview started at 1pm to 3pm.There were
three interviewee individuals in the age ranges of 20 s, 40 s and 60 s that believe have great impact of
learning in the community in so many ways. As the interview started, the interviewer informed that

The Definition Of Effective Leadership
Definition of effective leadership
Most historians rank George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore
Roosevelt as America s finest leaders. Agreement on their quality is so strong, in fact, that in the
1920s, their likenesses were immortalized on Mount Rushmore, which has since become an iconic
symbol of great leadership.
On the other end of the spectrum, Warren G. Harding, Pierce, James Buchanan, and George W. Bush
are ranked as among our worst leaders. Herbert Hoover, John Tyler, and Millard Fillmore sank to the
bottom as well.
The unanimity among these rankings suggests that the qualities that make an effective leader do not
change with place and time, with the governed body or with the situation. America s sixth president,
John Quincy Adams, defined leadership this way: If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn
more, do more and become more, you are a leader. I agree that effective leadership is distinguished by
four critical qualities: passion, vision, emotional intelligence, and confidence. Leaders who possess
these qualities are able to make a positive impact on their institution as Adams did, improving
American life through his strong hand on the wheel of the ship.
Without a leader s clear vision and guidance, a business is like a ship drifting aimlessly. The leader s
vision provides the map, establishing a path that leads to the desired destination. Effective leaders
create clear, concise visions that identify the key actions

Estate of Leavitt v. Comm
Facts:
As shareholders of VAFLA Corporation, an S corporation, the appellants claimed deductions to reflect
the corporation s operating losses. The commissioner disallowed deductions above the $10,000 bases
from original investment. The appellants contend that the adjusted basis in their stock should be
increased to reflect a $300,000 loan. The loan was obtained by VAFLA from bank and was guaranteed
by the shareholder guarantors. VAFLA made all of the loan payments, principals and interest to the
bank and the appellants did not. Neither VAFLA nor the shareholder guarantors treated the loan as
constructive income taxable to the shareholder guarantors.

However, they fail to distinguish between the initial question of economic outlay and the secondary
issue of debt or equity. Only if the first question had an affirmative answer would the second arise.
The tax court correctly determined that the appellant s guarantees in itself have not constituted
contributions of cash or other property which might increase the bases of the appellant s stock.
The appellants view the substance of the transaction is over the form . Generally, taxpayers are bound
by the form of their transaction and may not argue the substance triggers different tax consequences.
The Tax Court found the form and substance of the transaction was a loan from the bank to VAFLA
and not to the appellants. The proceeds were to be used in the operation of the business and petitioners
were not free to dispose the loan. Nor were the payments reported as constructive dividends.
If VAFLA had been profitable, the petitioners would argue that the loan was from the bank to the
corporation. The loan repayments would not be on the appellants behalf and would not be taxed as
constructive income to them. The appellants would jump an effort to play both ends against the middle
until it should be determined whether VAFLA was profitable or money losing.
The appellants complain that the tax court fail to apply debt equity principles. The secondary inquiry
cannot be reached unless the first question concerning whether an economic

The Major Saturated Fatty Acid
The major saturated fatty acid in most diets is palmitic acid. [19] It is most common in animal fats but
also occurs in vegetable oil. It has been shown in research that palmitic acid increases LDL cholesterol
levels in parallel to total cholesterol levels. [30] Myristic acid has also been shown in two studies
conducted in the 1960 s to raise cholesterol concentration. [9, 10] The study conducted by Hegsted et
al. suggested that myristic acid raises cholesterol concentrations even higher than palmitic. Unlike
palmitic and myristic, stearic acid is a SFA that has shown not to raise cholesterol levels. [7, 9] It was
proposed by Keys et al. to subtract stearic acid from the total saturated when calculating serum
cholesterol response, but the equation was rarely used by following studies. More recent studies, if
using Keys et al. equation, could produce results more indicative of the true negatives of saturated fat
intake in regards to CVD risk and incidence.
In the 2014 meta analysis, individual fatty acids were examined to determine the degree to which it
will influence CVD risk factors and incidence. The SFA stearic acid was found to have the highest
positive correlation with CVD risk and incidence, followed by palmitic and oleic. [25] In contrast,
margaric acid was associated with a significantly lower risk. Also eicosapentaenoic, docosahexaenoic,
and arachidonic were found to be associated with statistically significant lower risks. This
corroborates and refutes previous

Biotic Macromolecules
Enantiomers are two same chemical moieties which have a different spatial arrangement. They are
described as mirror images of each other, that is they are non superimposable. They have similar
physical properties but differs in some chemical properties. The two different arrangements are
classifieds as L and D , depending upon the functional group of reference. In human beings, sugars are
present in D configuration whereas amino acids are present in L configuration. To address the reason
behind the specificity of the configuration of the macromolecules in human beings, various theories
have been proposed. Some of these theories talk about the abiotic origin of these macromolecules and
some about the biotic origin of these macromolecules. The abiotic theories talk about the
environmental conditions and accidental imbalance in the concentration of the two forms during the
process of evolution which led to an abundance of one of the forms. Biotic theory talks about the
preferential difference between the two forms on the basis of their importance in the biological
functions/processes. Abiotic theories 1. Accident theory ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Arrow Of God And Smoke Signals
Arrow of God and Smoke Signals have similar patterns of fiction, archetypes and philosophies. If you
notice Campells typical hero sequence of actions can be detected in both Arrow of God and Smoke
Signals. There is a certain typical hero sequence of actions which can be detected in stories from all
over the world from many periods of history. Essentially, it might even be said there is but one
archetypal mythic hero whose life has been replicated in many lands by many people. (Archetypes pg
6) This sequence is made apparent in Arrow of God. The birth of Ezeulu is unusual because he is born
into priesthood. This priesthood later requires him to travel to Okperi. While in Okperi, Ezeulu
confronts his ego simultaneously while conflicting with the imposing British Government. Ezeulu
then returns to Umuaro having been reborn psychologically.
Campells typical hero sequence holds truth in Smoke Signals as well. Victor s unusual birth in Smoke
Signals is symbolic; he is saved from a tragic house fire as a young baby. This house fire is the same
event that drives his father away from the Coeur d Alene Indian Reservation. Inevitably this later
requires Victor to leave home and confront his ego while retrieving his father s remains.
In both Arrow of God and Smoke Signals the events after the heroes birth are considerably unusual.
This unusual birth is later the motive for the hero to leave home which ultimately results in the heroes
confronting their egos. The heroes then return

Baldwin Wallace Case Study
The University of Baldwin Wallace, as I view it as being very close knit liberal arts community where

uncertainty in knowing who is a member of a Greek organization on campus or the exact number of

Bonds. I would also make sure to signal the member that he or she is looking at the correct message,
by applying a small check mark or X on the message. The goal of these messages is to look normal to
the everyday person, but to the members of my group, they would see the code and when they enter it
to a vigenere cipher to decrypt the regular alphabet message to get the desired message. The message
that the member would receive from breaking the cipher would be a password to a program pre
installed on every USB used, the member would enter the correct password and would be granted
access to the file sharing program that will allow them to grab an important file or to upload for other
users. The main concern with this is that the Greek life system may crack the encrypted text and try to
enter a password. So, the way that I would counteract this would be to set a time to pick up the
information and notify my group of the time limit, because the program would either lock up after a
certain time or it would if possible would either delete itself from the USB or move the program to a
secondary dead drop location in case if a location is exposed and to also protect the members from

Childbirth And The Italian Renaissance
Childbirth and Childbearing in Renaissance Italy for upper status woman, was far different than what
childbearing is compared to today s standards. In renaissance Italy it was said that woman only had
one purpose and that purpose was to have many legitimate babies, especially for the nobility and
upper status couples. From having these babies, the family could inherit a lot of wealth (King, M. L.,
2003). This differs greatly in todays society, as now woman s primary function is not only to produce
children. Woman today are seen as equals to men, and have a larger significance than just having their
husbands children. Childbearing in the Renaissance was not as easy or as safe as it is today either, as
we will further discuss. This paper will explain the role of child birthing and bearing in the Italian
Renaissance, everything from mortality rates, to wet nurses and this differs from today s society. As
mentioned before, the main role for woman in the renaissance was to produce children for her husband
and handle household affairs, this was proven in the document by Alberti when he had said
Furthermore, I made it a rule never to speak with her of anything but household matters or of the
children. Of these matters I spoke a great deal to her...(Famiglia, D., 1996, pg 40). Thus showing the
wife s role was greatly dependent on her house and children. It was also important, especially in the
nobility, that the children the wife gave birth to were her husband s children. Her role

According to Engelberg (1986), Chin showed little to no remorse for his actions. In the interview he

exchange for improving the lives of one billion Chinese. He believed his native country greatly
benefited from closer relations with the United States. Chin s only motivation for committing
espionage was to better U.S. and Chinese relations. At the tail end of the trail, Chin was facing two life

It was noted that he suffocated himself with a brown plastic trash bag, which he sealed with shoe

University Of Oxford English Professor, Dr. Stuart Lee
University of Oxford English professor, Dr. Stuart Lee argues that the First World War was one of the
seminal moments of the twentieth century in which literate soldiers, plunged into inhuman conditions,
reacted to their surroundings in poems . Lee s statement identifies the role played by First World War
poetry played in not only commemorating the Great War but also allowing scholars to gain an insight
into the brutalities of the conflict through this literature available. This essay will agree with the
statement that First World War poetry has become one of the defining factors of Britain s memory of
the war, as it has acted as an avenue to access the real emotions and difficulties faced by the people,
including soldiers, caused by the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also, the mocking tone of the poem indicates to the reader that the war may have been meaningless in
the eyes of the soldiers, especially as it was a war of attrition. The conflict tested how long an army
could endure the conditions and sustain morale. Achievements due to the efforts of the soldier were
less visible and tangible. This perspective is further emphasised by Sassoon in The Kiss as he
describes the blind power of the bullet reiterating the view that the conflict was futile. Even Rosenberg
argues that the war was a time of mass slaughter and human sacrifice with little sense. Rosenberg
sheds light on the artificiality of political barriers through the imagery of a rat in the poem Break of
the Day in the Trenches where the rat touched this English hand and will do the same to a German .
There is a sense of playfulness to the poem but there are overtones of bitterness. Although Rosenberg
is discussing a broader theme here about the arbitrariness of political divisions and borders for non
humans, an interpretation is that the poet is hinting at the artificiality of the Great War. This again
signifies a condemnation of the war and the fact that soldiers consider the war to be unnecessary
during and after the war.
The poetry of the First World War gives the audience an insight in the horrific realities of the war and
the inhumane conditions. It is inaccurate to claim that brutalities only occurred during the Great War;

An Evidence Vitro For The Influence Of Bisphenol A On Uterine
Synopsis of An evidence in vitro for the influence of bisphenol A on uterine leiomyoma 1.
Introduction
Uterine fibroids are the most common noncancerous growths of the uterus also known as leiomyomas
or myomas. They are not usually associated with an increased risk of uterine cancer and almost never
develop into cancer but are considered as a common cause of hysterectomy.
Gynecological researchers consider that the increase in the incidence of this type of tumor is related to
the presence of exogenous estrogens in the environment, classifying these uterine fibroids as
hormonally responsive tumors.
The use of phenolic estrogens in the manufacture of plastic, resins, and several others, created a risk
for the human and environment since the exposure and pollution due to these chemicals has increased
significantly. Among these phenolic estrogens is Bisphenol A (BPA) which is considered to influence
the development of uterine fibroids. However, the role of environment estrogens in the promotion of
the growth of uterine fibroids, and its mechanism of action are not completely established.
The authors of this paper performed a series of evaluations and observations expecting to identify the
effect and mechanism of BPA on uterine leiomyoma (UL) cells. In this study UL cells were exposed to
different concentrations of BPA to observe the cell, the protein expression was monitored for changes
in expression of estrogen receptor alpha (ERα), insulin like growth factor 1 (IGF 1)

Southwest Airlines Flight From Baltimore Washington...
In order to visit my family in Rhode Island over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, I decided that the
quickest travel option would be to take a Southwest Airlines flight from Baltimore Washington
International Airport (BWI) to T.F. Green Airport (PVD). Anticipating the high volume of people also
trying to travel during the holiday season, I decided to arrive at the airport couple of hours early to
ensure that I would be able to check my bags, go through TSA security, and have enough time to go to
the restroom before boarding for Southwest began. Between the time of arrival at the airport and the
time a plane leaves the gate for take off, I noticed that within the airport, in order to eventually board
their respective aircrafts, travelers must navigate through multiple queues, which are line[s] of persons
waiting in turn to be served, according, to order of arrival (Mann, 3). In engaging in these queues,
passengers are participating in serially coordinated actions, in which multiple people are attempting to
do the same thing at the same time, such that some must wait while others engage in the activity. After
checking their luggage with their respective airlines, travelers must go through the TSA Security
Checkpoint in order to be admitted onto the concourse. The process of moving through TSA could be

multiple queues. Once passengers move through the first queue of

comes from a psychological disorder (or multiple) where thoughts, feelings, and/or actions are
distressful and dysfunctional. The symptoms of a psychological disorder have to interfere with one s

to those who were just big that said that they try to stop. I would see other people actually lose weight
and look slimmer and not understand that not everyone works that way. I learned that everyone is
different and that people eat different things. With this franchise, I understand better that even though
it is fictional, there are still some issues that people have to deal with. I watched the franchise as if
each character was a person and saw that all of these characters actually have a problem and I could

the possibility that there is a correlation between binge eating and happiness in Pooh s life. This
franchise challenges a few myths. One myth is that binge eating disorder is the same thing as bulimia.
Whenever Pooh ate pots of honey, back to back, he would not purge after, instead he would burp and

Personal Plan For Succeed For A University Of Phoenix
Personal Plan to Succeed
I have thought long and hard about the question proposed on my personal place to succeed. There is
lots of things to think about and to take into consideration. I will talk about why my graduate studies
are so important to me, which include where I was before I decided to go to the University of Phoenix.
I will also discuss how I am going to achieve the goals that I have set for myself and what obstacles
will be in my way that I will have to overcome.
Personal Plan to Succeed
I graduated with my BA degree in July 16, 2016 and I quickly jumped into graduates studies at the
University of Phoenix because I made a decision long ago when I decided to get my degree that if I
was going to do this, then I was going to go all the way. There are two reasons for this, one I wanted to
gain as much knowledge about my career field as I could. I knew the more knowledge that I acquired
the better I would feel. I believe that knowledge is power and I wanted to be powerful. Second, this
may be a little selfish but this reason has to do with one thing and that is money. I want to make as
much money as I can in my field. I knew that I did not want a lower management position. I knew that
I wanted to be the big boss in upper management and along with that type of title comes a big payoff.
In terms of goals it is very important to set short term and long term goals. I have set my short term
goals as one class at a time, just get a great grade in this class whatever

What Is The Theme Of Uglies
Imagine living in a world where when you turn sixteen you have to change completely? Scott
Westerfeld s, the author of the book Uglies, purpose of writing the story is to teach us that no one

the world in which the characters live? I wonder if you were ever made fun of for being ugly? I

As I read Uglies, I consider the topic of acceptance because the message the author is trying to get
across is that everyone should just be accepted for who they are. When I read this book, I see a society
that needs to change. The place the characters live in forces them to get a surgery to change into what
society considers attractive . You are called ugly or a pretty and treated differently based on your

Black Diggers Dramatic Meaning
The Queensland Theatre Company s Black Diggers dramatic meaning is to highlight the racial
prejudice that Indigenous soldiers faced in the time period surrounding World War II and call to
attention the lack of remembrance and appreciation for Indigenous soldiers actions. The dramatic
meaning is effectively portrayed to the audience through the manipulation of the elements of drama,
the components of collage drama and acting skills.
The dramatic meaning of Black Diggers is communicated to the audience through the effective use of
the dramatic element symbol. This is seen when a small list is compiled of Indigenous soldiers,
reminiscent to the one at the Australian War memorial. This portrays the dramatic meaning, as this is
the only form of remembrance for the Indigenous soldiers. Secondly, symbol is utilised used through a

The Last Post overshadows a didgeridoo, when the Indigenous serviceman returned from war. This
enhances the dramatic meaning as it is conveying that the wider white community overlooked the
actions of Indigenous soldiers. Also, the Last Post is still played today and thus communicates that
there is still prejudice now. Secondly, use of direct address to the audience developed the viewer s
understanding of the dramatic meaning. This is evident as a past soldier is describing the effects of
war and his journey through World War I, and speaking as if the audience were at the event. This
grasped the audience on a personal level and made the address more meaningful. It is through the use
of components of collage drama; juxtaposition and direct audience address that the dramatic meaning
is effectively portrayed to the

The Sexualization Of Women And Girls
The sexualization of women and girls surround Americans and is damaging to females as well as to
American society. Females receive the sexualized messages regarding their appearance and how they
should act via the media, retailers, and American society s acceptance of these behaviors. As a mother,
Girl Scout Leader, and school paraprofessional I cannot help but to question are these messages
inflicting psychological damage on girls? Whom can I hold accountable for sexualizing female youth?
What can I do to prevent sexualization from affecting all of the young girls in my life? The
sexualization of girls is unacceptable because it is degrading to females, can cause serious life long
psychological damage and sexist attitudes, and may lead to violence against women and girls.
Sexualization differs from healthy sexuality. According to the American Psychological Association
Task Force (APA), healthy sexuality is something that develops spontaneously in people that have not
suffered any kind of traumatic sexual crisis. Healthy sexuality includes affection, a relationship and/or
companionship, respect, and healthy intimacy between consenting people (APA 1). Sexualization, on
the other hand, is something that is forced upon a person. The APA defines sexualization as a cause
that ensues when one of the following causes occur: A person s value comes only from his or her
sexual appeal or behavior, to the exclusion of other characteristics; 2.) A person is held to a standard
that

Network Technology, Structure, And Protocols
Introduction
This paper is about basic network technology, structure, and protocols. This paper will cover the
module question Discuss how the structure of the TCP IP framework has enabled the expansion of the
Internet into a worldwide network. Discuss issues with this network. Is it big enough? Are enough IP
addresses for all? What is being done under IPV6? This will be accomplished by addressing the crore
topics as well as how IP started to grow, the issues with the network in regards to technological
limitations as well as the different types of vulnerabilities and attacks. This paper will conclude with a
summary.
Structure of TCP IP and expansion In the beginning, the internet was without form. It was in the early
phases with agencies such as DARPA and educational institutes that we laying the ground for what the
internet turned into. However, as the internet grew, not everyone used the same communication
method so there had to be gateways installed on the border of networks in order to translate one type
of protocol into another (Bellovin, S. M.). This was not good so the advent of TCP IP was constructed.
This allowed for uniformed communication and thus brought on the rapid expansion of the internet.
The internet follows the open systems interconnect model (OSI) developed by Charles Bachman at
Honeywell Information Services, this consists of seven layers. 1. The physical layer, this includes both
wired and wireless forms of communication. An Ethernet cable or

Matt Ridley s The Red Queen
In the book, The Red Queen, the author Matt Ridley claims that men find women s ratio of waist
width to hip width attractive (Ridley 292). It was observed by Physiologist Dev Singh who argued that
a man will find a woman extremely attractive as long as her waist is much thinner than her hips
(Ridley 292). In addition, this ratio is also hints if a woman is childbirth potential (Ridley 292).
Throughout human time, this waist to hip ratio theory has changed on what is preferable (Bovet and
Raymond 1). However, this sexual attraction is still a trait that influences men s mate preference
(Bovet and Raymond 1). I also found that a woman s waist to hip ration also provides information
about a woman s age, and health (Bovet and Raymond 1). Overall,

  • 2. Compare And Contrast Pueblo And Mississippi River Valley... Pueblo and Mississippi River Valley Tribes Before the arrival of Europeans in 1492, many tribes had grown and flourished in the Americas. Most tribes had their own organized governments and religions, but some tribes occupied entire regions, such as the Pueblo tribes of the Southwest or the Mississippi River Valley tribes, and were different from the numerous nomadic tribes. They had extensive trade systems, sophisticated farming systems that resulted in a ready supply of food, and thousands of citizens. The two groups had a lot in common, but they also had several differences that distinguished them. The Pueblo tribes had a more developed sense of unity than the Mississippi River tribes, and this unity gave them an advantage that the Mississippi ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In addition, each group was descended from a very large and powerful tribe that had occupied their land before them. The Mississippi River tribes of the 1400s were descended from the powerful tribe of Cahokia, or the mound builders. When Cahokia began to decline in the 1350s (possibly due to climate change, more specifically a sudden drop in temperature), the group formed subdivisions with different leaders who fought for power over the large tribe. Eventually, many of these subgroups moved to different parts of the river with their families and a few others, forming small villages of 500 to 2,000 people. The result was many Mississippi River tribes living near each other, but not necessarily in harmony with each other. Though these groups would trade with each other and were not openly hostile, they never managed to regain the unity that the Cahokia tribe had possessed, and that the Pueblo had as well. The unity of the Pueblo tribes is due at least in part to the powerful tribe that existed before them, as well. While the Cahokia devolved into many separate tribes, creating a power struggle that fractured the formerly strong tribe into several small rival tribes, the group who had occupied the land where the Pueblos lived, the Anasazi, seemed to have abandoned their home entirely. So when the Pueblo began to move in, they could start from scratch and grow together. They had no history with each other, and so could form mutually beneficial relationships without the prejudices held by the former members of the Cahokia tribe. Though the Pueblo people were subdivided into many different tribes, the tribes were on good terms and stayed connected through a variety of factors, leading to a more developed sense of unity than the Mississippi River Valley tribes ... Exchange Rate Variation and Inflation in Nigeria : Max School of Technology and Society MASTER DEGREE PROJECT EXCHANGE RATE VARIATION AND INFLATION IN NIGERIA (1970 2007) Master Degree Project in Economics and Finance D Leval 15 ECTS Spring term Year 2008 Onosewalu Okhiria 761130 P319 Taofeek Sesan Saliu 761130 P719 Supervisor: Bernd Joachim Schuller(PhD) Examiner: Max Zamanian (PhD) ABSTRACT This study examines the impact of exchange rate on inflation in Nigeria economy between 1970 and 2007. We analysed the trend of inflation and exchange rate in the last 38 years by evaluating the relationship between government expenditure, money supply, Oil revenue, exchange rate and inflation as the dependent variables. We adopted the Augmented Dickey Fuller to carry out the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Inflation is one of the most frequently used terms in economic discussions, yet the concept is variously misconstrued. There are various schools of thought on inflation, but there is a consensus among economists that inflation is a continuous rise in the prices. Simply put, inflation depicts an economist situation where there is a general rise in prices of goods and services, continuously. It could be defined as a continue rise in prices as measured by an index such as the consumer price index (CPI) or by the implicit price deflator for Gross National Product (GNP). Inflation is frequently described as a state where too much money is chasing too few goods . When there is inflation, the currency losses purchasing power. The purchasing power of a given amount of naira (currency) will be smaller over time when there is inflation in the economy. For instance, assuming N10.00 (Nigeria unit currency) can purchase 10 ... • 4. Freedom Of Decision Making Power In Sweden child rearing was customarily strict, which prompted to a reactionary development of free childhood in the 70s. Kids were allowed to settle on their own choices, so they essentially ran wild. Different guardians jokingly called it free from Upbringing . FreeUpbringing was overcompensation; the perfect is a balancing act. Freedomis valuable; however it s dangerous if not adjusted with obligation. At last, free Upbringing acted to separate children s freedom from taking liability for their activities.Employees are clearly not children, but freedomof decision making powers to individual employees are not barrier free. Freedom of decision making powers to individual employees varies from culture to culture, person to person, task to task and varies among organization also with in organization hierarchy. Freedom of decision making power can take different form from extreme to mid. An organization can follow full autonomy or participative or full directive decision making power. Autonomy Autonomy is the degree to which a job provides an employee independence to schedule their work and independence to determine the process to do the job. Larger amounts of self rule at work have been appeared to expand work fulfilment, and in some cases, motivation to perform the job. In traditional organizations, higher level employees had freedom of decision making. Now different organization structure such as flatter structure in organization brings more autonomy for lower ... • 5. Comparing the Concentrations of Saturated Solutions... In this lab, lab 4.3 Comparing the Concentrations of Saturated Solutions, we set out to find and compare the solubilities of two solids in water. In addition, we tested if solubility is a characteristic property of a solid in a given liquid. This lab allowed us to test and use a reliable way to measure the solubility of a solid. This lab can be replicated for any solid with the same procedure, thus it gives us a method to calculate solubility. The two solids we tested in this experiment were NaCl (Sodium Chloride) and NaNO3 (Sodium Nitrate). To begin the experiment, we measured 5cc of water and 5g of NaCl and added them to a test tube. Next, we stoppered the test tube and shook vigorously for two or three minutes. After we observed that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Six of the ten sodium chloride groups found the solubility of sodium chloride to be statistically 36g/100cc of water, with a +3g/100cc margin of error. Three of the four groups outside this margin of error had solubilities in the forties, 42, 48, 49g/100cc. These three groups made an experimental error that altered their results and can be excluded from our analysis of data. Another group was in the low thirties with 30g/100cc. Yet the beginning masses that compose the solubility equations do differ. For example, one group found that the mass of their solution was 4.21 grams, but another recorded a mass of 5.47 grams. When it comes to the mass of the solid (solute) the former recorded a mass of 1.11 grams, the latter reported a mass of 1.38 grams. Nonetheless, they came out with the same solubility of 34 grams per 100 cc of water. Thus we can prove that that solubility is a characteristic property. This is because every group started with a different mass of solution and solid, but they concluded with the same solubility (given the +3 gram margin of error and excluding outliers) or were close. • 21. The Definition Of Effective Leadership Definition of effective leadership Most historians rank George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt as America s finest leaders. Agreement on their quality is so strong, in fact, that in the 1920s, their likenesses were immortalized on Mount Rushmore, which has since become an iconic symbol of great leadership. On the other end of the spectrum, Warren G. Harding, Pierce, James Buchanan, and George W. Bush are ranked as among our worst leaders. Herbert Hoover, John Tyler, and Millard Fillmore sank to the bottom as well. The unanimity among these rankings suggests that the qualities that make an effective leader do not change with place and time, with the governed body or with the situation. America s sixth president, John Quincy Adams, defined leadership this way: If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. I agree that effective leadership is distinguished by four critical qualities: passion, vision, emotional intelligence, and confidence. Leaders who possess these qualities are able to make a positive impact on their institution as Adams did, improving American life through his strong hand on the wheel of the ship. It has been shown in research that palmitic acid increases LDL cholesterol levels in parallel to total cholesterol levels. [30] Myristic acid has also been shown in two studies conducted in the 1960 s to raise cholesterol concentration. [9, 10] The study conducted by Hegsted et al. suggested that myristic acid raises cholesterol concentrations even higher than palmitic. Unlike palmitic and myristic, stearic acid is a SFA that has shown not to raise cholesterol levels. [7, 9] It was proposed by Keys et al. to subtract stearic acid from the total saturated when calculating serum cholesterol response, but the equation was rarely used by following studies. More recent studies, if using Keys et al. equation, could produce results more indicative of the true negatives of saturated fat intake in regards to CVD risk and incidence. In the 2014 meta analysis, individual fatty acids were examined to determine the degree to which it will influence CVD risk factors and incidence. The SFA stearic acid was found to have the highest positive correlation with CVD risk and incidence, followed by palmitic and oleic. Essentially, it might even be said there is but one archetypal mythic hero whose life has been replicated in many lands by many people. (Archetypes pg 6) This sequence is made apparent in Arrow of God. The birth of Ezeulu is unusual because he is born into priesthood. This priesthood later requires him to travel to Okperi. While in Okperi, Ezeulu confronts his ego simultaneously while conflicting with the imposing British Government. Ezeulu then returns to Umuaro having been reborn psychologically. Campells typical hero sequence holds truth in Smoke Signals as well. Victor s unusual birth in Smoke Signals is symbolic; he is saved from a tragic house fire as a young baby. This house fire is the same event that drives his father away from the Coeur d Alene Indian Reservation. Inevitably this later requires Victor to leave home and confront his ego while retrieving his father s remains. In both Arrow of God and Smoke Signals the events after the heroes birth are considerably unusual. This unusual birth is later the motive for the hero to leave home which ultimately results in the heroes confronting their egos. The heroes then return ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The probability of someone who is part of the Greek life system or knows a friend that is a member is probably high. The difficulty I see in this is the complete uncertainty in knowing who is a member of a Greek organization on campus or the exact number of the faculty here that are Greek alumni or has ties to a Greek organization. The uncertainty of not knowing who has ties to Greek life or is a member being stated above brings me to my next major concern and challenge. The method I would use to help notify the members of my group that the drop was ready for pick up is to post inspirational messages on post it stamps across campus in various places such as the MACS building, The Union, Kamm Hall, and Bonds. I would also make sure to signal the member that he or she is looking at the correct message, by applying a small check mark or X on the message. The goal of these messages is to look normal to the everyday person, but to the members of my group, they would see the code and when they enter it to a vigenere cipher to decrypt the regular alphabet message to get the desired message. The message that the member would receive from breaking the cipher would be a password to a program pre installed on every USB used, the member would enter the correct password and would be granted access to the file sharing program that will allow them to grab an important file or to upload for other users. The main concern with this is that the Greek life system may crack the encrypted text and try to enter a password. So, the way that I would counteract this would be to set a time to pick up the information and notify my group of the time limit, because the program would either lock up after a certain time or it would if possible would either delete itself from the USB or move the program to a secondary dead drop location in case if a location is exposed and to also protect the members from being caught. The one major threat of my method would be the adverse weather conditions that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 28. Childbirth And The Italian Renaissance Childbirth and Childbearing in Renaissance Italy for upper status woman, was far different than what childbearing is compared to today s standards. In renaissance Italy it was said that woman only had one purpose and that purpose was to have many legitimate babies, especially for the nobility and upper status couples. From having these babies, the family could inherit a lot of wealth (King, M. L., 2003). This differs greatly in todays society, as now woman s primary function is not only to produce children. Woman today are seen as equals to men, and have a larger significance than just having their husbands children. Childbearing in the Renaissance was not as easy or as safe as it is today either, as we will further discuss. This paper will explain the role of child birthing and bearing in the Italian Renaissance, everything from mortality rates, to wet nurses and this differs from today s society. As mentioned before, the main role for woman in the renaissance was to produce children for her husband and handle household affairs, this was proven in the document by Alberti when he had said Furthermore, I made it a rule never to speak with her of anything but household matters or of the children. Of these matters I spoke a great deal to her...(Famiglia, D., 1996, pg 40). Thus showing the wife s role was greatly dependent on her house and children. It was also important, especially in the nobility, that the children the wife gave birth to were her husband s children. Her role ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

University Of Oxford English Professor, Dr. Stuart Lee University of Oxford English professor, Dr. Stuart Lee argues that the First World War was one of the seminal moments of the twentieth century in which literate soldiers, plunged into inhuman conditions, reacted to their surroundings in poems . Lee s statement identifies the role played by First World War poetry played in not only commemorating the Great War but also allowing scholars to gain an insight into the brutalities of the conflict through this literature available. This essay will agree with the statement that First World War poetry has become one of the defining factors of Britain s memory of the war, as it has acted as an avenue to access the real emotions and difficulties faced by the people, including soldiers, caused by the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Also, the mocking tone of the poem indicates to the reader that the war may have been meaningless in the eyes of the soldiers, especially as it was a war of attrition. The conflict tested how long an army could endure the conditions and sustain morale. Achievements due to the efforts of the soldier were less visible and tangible. This perspective is further emphasised by Sassoon in The Kiss as he describes the blind power of the bullet reiterating the view that the conflict was futile. Even Rosenberg argues that the war was a time of mass slaughter and human sacrifice with little sense. Rosenberg sheds light on the artificiality of political barriers through the imagery of a rat in the poem Break of the Day in the Trenches where the rat touched this English hand and will do the same to a German . There is a sense of playfulness to the poem but there are overtones of bitterness. Although Rosenberg is discussing a broader theme here about the arbitrariness of political divisions and borders for non humans, an interpretation is that the poet is hinting at the artificiality of the Great War. This again signifies a condemnation of the war and the fact that soldiers consider the war to be unnecessary during and after the war. The poetry of the First World War gives the audience an insight in the horrific realities of the war and the inhumane conditions. It is inaccurate to claim that brutalities only occurred during the Great War; ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Introduction Uterine fibroids are the most common noncancerous growths of the uterus also known as leiomyomas or myomas. They are not usually associated with an increased risk of uterine cancer and almost never develop into cancer but are considered as a common cause of hysterectomy. Gynecological researchers consider that the increase in the incidence of this type of tumor is related to the presence of exogenous estrogens in the environment, classifying these uterine fibroids as hormonally responsive tumors. The use of phenolic estrogens in the manufacture of plastic, resins, and several others, created a risk for the human and environment since the exposure and pollution due to these chemicals has increased significantly. Among these phenolic estrogens is Bisphenol A (BPA) which is considered to influence the development of uterine fibroids. However, the role of environment estrogens in the promotion of the growth of uterine fibroids, and its mechanism of action are not completely established. The authors of this paper performed a series of evaluations and observations expecting to identify the effect and mechanism of BPA on uterine leiomyoma (UL) cells. In this study UL cells were exposed to different concentrations of BPA to observe the cell, the protein expression was monitored for changes in expression of estrogen receptor alpha (ERα), insulin like growth factor 1 (IGF 1) ... In order to visit my family in Rhode Island over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, I decided that the quickest travel option would be to take a Southwest Airlines flight from Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) to T.F. Green Airport (PVD). Anticipating the high volume of people also trying to travel during the holiday season, I decided to arrive at the airport couple of hours early to ensure that I would be able to check my bags, go through TSA security, and have enough time to go to the restroom before boarding for Southwest began. Between the time of arrival at the airport and the time a plane leaves the gate for take off, I noticed that within the airport, in order to eventually board their respective aircrafts, travelers must navigate through multiple queues, which are line[s] of persons waiting in turn to be served, according, to order of arrival (Mann, 3). In engaging in these queues, passengers are participating in serially coordinated actions, in which multiple people are attempting to do the same thing at the same time, such that some must wait while others engage in the activity. After checking their luggage with their respective airlines, travelers must go through the TSA Security Checkpoint in order to be admitted onto the concourse. The process of moving through TSA could be considered a compound (sequentially linked) queue, where a single larger action is accomplished over multiple queues. With this franchise, I understand better that even though it is fictional, there are still some issues that people have to deal with. I watched the franchise as if each character was a person and saw that all of these characters actually have a problem and I could watch a few characters as my own family members. This made me understand that even though it is a problem, not all the time can problems be fixed, such as Pooh s problem. In the end of it all, Pooh continues to eat honey and no one really stops him because it is what makes him happy. This creates the possibility that there is a correlation between binge eating and happiness in Pooh s life. This franchise challenges a few myths. One myth is that binge eating disorder is the same thing as bulimia. Whenever Pooh ate pots of honey, back to back, he would not purge after, instead he would burp and go to sleep. Scott Westerfeld, I wonder how you came up with the world in which the characters live? I wonder if you were ever made fun of for being ugly? I wonder if you think our world will become this? When I read this book, I see a society that needs to change. The place the characters live in forces them to get a surgery to change into what society considers attractive . You are called ugly or a pretty and treated differently based on your looks. In my opinion, this is very wrong. No one should be judged based on the way they look. The dramatic meaning of Black Diggers is communicated to the audience through the effective use of the dramatic element symbol. According to the American Psychological Association Task Force (APA), healthy sexuality is something that develops spontaneously in people that have not suffered any kind of traumatic sexual crisis. Healthy sexuality includes affection, a relationship and/or companionship, respect, and healthy intimacy between consenting people (APA 1). However, as the internet grew, not everyone used the same communication method so there had to be gateways installed on the border of networks in order to translate one type of protocol into another (Bellovin, S.
