SIMPLE
PRESENT
 TENSE
This time is used to express an action which is repeated or usual.
For examples, a hobby, a daily routine or somethings that often
happens.
Examples:
o I play soccer everyday.
o She plays tennis on weekends.
o Do We study English?
o Does He work so hard?
o I do not eat rice.
o She does not fix her car.


Note: Take into account the verbs can change depend of the
person.
RULE
For first person the verbs is the same, but the third person verbs
change. So, You must add (es, ies or s).


Add “es” when: The verb ends (ss, ch, sh, o, x).
wash-washes
Fix-fixes


Add “ies” when: The verb ends “y” and It is precided by a
consonant. So, You must change “y” by ”i” and add “es”.
Cry-cries
Fly-flies
Add “s” all verbs that does not have the previously exceptions.
Play-plays
Run-runs
Sell-sells
Send-sends
Eat-eats
Walk-walks

INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES
AUXILIAR: DO and for third person DOES
Structure: auxiliar+subject+verb+complement+?

Note: Interrogatives sentences the verb does not change.
NEGATIVES SENTENCES
Structure: subject+auxiliar+not+verb+complement.


I do not play with my brother


She does not play with her brother
