Sight is the power of seeing and the most important sense, allowing humans to observe the world visually and take in 80% of information. The eye has several layers - the sclera, cornea, choroid, iris, pupil, and retina containing rods and cones. The retina receives images and rods/cones are associated with black-white and color vision. Common eye disorders include astigmatism causing blurred vision, color blindness affecting color comprehension, and glaucoma resulting in optic nerve damage and vision loss.
