The M 6.6 earthquake was generated by rupture on the same fault zone that generated the May 2008 earthquake. These losses are catastrophic in a country where the per capita income is less than two dollars a day. In the aftermath of the earthquake, The whole world has to put effort to provide immediate help for those most in need as well as long-term rebuilding.

the Red Crossinthe fortnightfollowingthe quake.Muchof thisfundingwentintorunningthese
