This document outlines a project to detect alcohol in vehicles to prevent drunk driving. The system uses an ATmega32 microcontroller, alcohol sensor, LCD display, motor driver, buzzer, and GSM module. It analyzes breath for alcohol concentration and controls the vehicle if alcohol is detected by sending a signal via GSM. The hardware is powered by a 5V supply and software is programmed using Programmable Notepad and simulated in Proteus. The system aims to reduce road accidents by preventing drunk driving and notifying authorities if needed. Future work may include GPS and fingerprint identification to enhance location tracking and driver verification.
