This document describes a project to develop an automatic engine locking system for detecting alcohol levels in drivers. The system uses an alcohol sensor and microcontroller to read alcohol levels and lock the engine if levels exceed the limit. If detected, a buzzer will sound and a DC motor will turn on to simulate the engine locking process. The system aims to prevent drunken driving accidents. It discusses the hardware and software components used, including an ATmega8 microcontroller, LCD, sensor, motor driver, and more. Potential applications are in vehicles and workplaces to reduce alcohol-related accidents.
