Ang LRN ba ay required para tangapin ang learner sa school?
Ang sabi ng Deped Order: Sa nakaraang mga instructions sa LIS, palaging ang school kung saan presently
enrolled ang learner ang dapat mag register sa LIS para magkaroon ng LRN. Pwede ding magkaroon ng
LRN ang mga learner na naka enrolled sa ALS program. (Deped Order 33, s. 2013; Deped Order 13, s.
2014). Pasimula noong SY2015-2016, ang mga authorized private schools ay binigyan na din ng access
sa LIS para ma-iregister nila sa LIS ang kanilang mga learners at mabigyan din ng LRN . Ang school ang
dapat magbigay ng LRN sa learner hindi ang kabaligtaran nito – Deped Order 26, s. 2015.

Ano ang kailangan para magkaroon ng LRN?
Ang sabi ng Deped Order: Dapat naka enrolled ang learner sa school na authorized
ng Deped. Kung sa private school, tiyakin na mayroon itong valid permit to operate
mula sa Deped at may EBEIS school ID. Ang LRN ay 12 digit numbers at ang unang 6
digits nito ay ang school ID. Ang LRN ay dapat ilagay sa mga document na nauugnay
sa learner tulad ng Form 137, Fom 138, Diploma at iba pa. (Deped Order 22 s.
2012) . Sa Public School, ang mga impormasyon mula sa School Form 1 (SF1) ang
ginagamit na reference sa learner’s basic profile sa LIS. Pananagutan ng class
adviser/school head na matiyak na may mga supporting document ang SF1 sa bawat
learner’s record – Deped Order 4, s. 2014.

Paano malalaman kung may LRN o wala pa ang Learner?
Dapat makipag-ugnayan ang parent/learner sa school na
huling pinasukan kung hindi pa kasalukuyan naka enrolled ang
learner sa school na authorized ng Deped. Kung naka enrolled
naman na, ang current authorized school ang gagawa ng
“search query” sa LIS para makita kung may existing record.

Paano magkakaroon ng LRN ang nag-aral sa
“Unregistered Private School”?
Ang sabi ng Deped Order: May mga proseso ang mababasa sa
Deped Orders 22, s. 1998 & 53, s. 2004. Please contact the
BUREAU OF EDUCATION ASSESSMENT (BEA), Education
Assessment Division (EAD). The certificate being issued from
this office may use as basis of the receiving authorized school
to register the learner in LIS.

1. Online updating of learner's basic profile and
enrolment status through the Learner
Information System (LIS) will be made
available by May 10, 2016

a. School Registrar or LIS Coordinator searches and
retrieves the learner record.
i. If a learner record does not exist, encoder selects
from a list of reasons the Grade 11 learner does not
exist in the LIS

Reasons for exeption:
1. From School Abroad (encode also the school name and country where learner
attended junior high school)
2. PEPT passer(encode PEPT certificate number)
3. A&E passer(encode A&E certificate number)
4. PVT passer (encode PVT certificate number)
5. From same school not encoded
6. From other schools not encoded - this includes public, private and SUCs. The
originating school name shall be selected from drop-down list of schools.

ii. Prior to the issuance of an LRN, the record of the newly-
registered learner shall be subject to approval by the Schools Division
Office. (Planning Office Requirements: Covered Letter Adressed to the
SDS and Attention: Planning Section, Birth Certificate, Form 137, SF1)

b. If learner record exists, or once the
learner is registered in the LIS, Program
(track and strand) per learner shall be
selected from a drop-down list of
program offerings the school is
authorized to provide.

c. All enroled/ registered learners prior to the opening of classes are
recorded in the schools' "List of Registered Learners"
i. School shall have the facility to view the list of learners by program
offering.
ii. School dashboard shall also display summary of learners by program
offering.

2. In creating SHS sections, the following data shall be provided:
- Program offering selected from drop-down list that school is authorized
to provide.
- Section Name must be unique within a school.
- Class Adviser selected from a drop-down list of school personnel

After a class or section is created, assign
learners by selecting from a list of learners
officially enroled in the program.

3. Starting June 17, 2016, the facility to finalized the enrolment list for
each class shall be made available. The class adviser shall encode each
learner's "Date of First Attendance." The "Finalized" action shall mark all
learners with no Date of First Attendance and prompt the user to either
provide a valid date or confirm the finalization. After finalization is
confirmed, learners with no Date of First Attendance shall no longer
appear in the class' enrolment list.

Learners with no Date of First Attendance will remain in the schools'
Registration List until another school enrols the learner. In this case, the
learner has decided to attend a different SHS. The list shall contain a
complete list of learners who enroled into SHS but are identified as
follows:
- Enroled in school
- Enroled in other SHS
- Blank if not enroled in any school
Reminder (May 30, 2016): Sa LIS ng SHS,
ano ang category or status ng mga HS
Graduates kung i reregister sa SHS (not
Grade 10 completers)?

History, since the learner is
Promoted from Grade 10, he is
eligible to Enrol in the SHS
Select the SHS program in the
school
After selecting the SHS program of the Learner, click

LEARNERS IN THEIR CLASSES
(This facility is available on
June 17, 2016 onwards)
After enrolling all the SHS Grade 11 Enrolees in the LIS
You are now ready to assign the SHS Learner who attended their First Day of
Attendance (from June 13-17 and onwards) in their assign class. Those who did not
appear on the said date are temporary enrolled. Not included in the actual
enrolment. Click Assign

Select the Date of First Attendance (June 13-onwards)
After filling up the required data, Click Assign

Assign another learner to a Class assignment,

For Approval – LRN To be Approved by the
PO, submit request letter and attached necessary

display List of Classes (this facility is available on June 17 onwards)

In the list of Classes, you can see Add Class (this is use to add
class/s), Enrolment and Edit button
It will display the List of Learner in a class
if you click Enrolment Button
It will display the Update Class if
you click Edit Button (in here you
can change the name of a class)

  • 1. LECTURE ON SHS ENROLMENT SY 2016-17 (Available in the System) and ASSIGNING LEARNER IN A CLASS (Available on June 17, 2016) By ALFREDO C. MEDRANO Planning Officer III Ilocos Norte Division
  • 2. 06/30/16 SHS Encoding and Processing of Data
  • 4. Ang LRN ba ay required para tangapin ang learner sa school? Ang sabi ng Deped Order: Sa nakaraang mga instructions sa LIS, palaging ang school kung saan presently enrolled ang learner ang dapat mag register sa LIS para magkaroon ng LRN. Pwede ding magkaroon ng LRN ang mga learner na naka enrolled sa ALS program. (Deped Order 33, s. 2013; Deped Order 13, s. 2014). Pasimula noong SY2015-2016, ang mga authorized private schools ay binigyan na din ng access sa LIS para ma-iregister nila sa LIS ang kanilang mga learners at mabigyan din ng LRN . Ang school ang dapat magbigay ng LRN sa learner hindi ang kabaligtaran nito – Deped Order 26, s. 2015.
  • 5. 06/30/16 Ano ang kailangan para magkaroon ng LRN? Ang sabi ng Deped Order: Dapat naka enrolled ang learner sa school na authorized ng Deped. Kung sa private school, tiyakin na mayroon itong valid permit to operate mula sa Deped at may EBEIS school ID. Ang LRN ay 12 digit numbers at ang unang 6 digits nito ay ang school ID. Ang LRN ay dapat ilagay sa mga document na nauugnay sa learner tulad ng Form 137, Fom 138, Diploma at iba pa. (Deped Order 22 s. 2012) . Sa Public School, ang mga impormasyon mula sa School Form 1 (SF1) ang ginagamit na reference sa learner’s basic profile sa LIS. Pananagutan ng class adviser/school head na matiyak na may mga supporting document ang SF1 sa bawat learner’s record – Deped Order 4, s. 2014.
  • 6. 06/30/16 Paano malalaman kung may LRN o wala pa ang Learner? Dapat makipag-ugnayan ang parent/learner sa school na huling pinasukan kung hindi pa kasalukuyan naka enrolled ang learner sa school na authorized ng Deped. Kung naka enrolled naman na, ang current authorized school ang gagawa ng “search query” sa LIS para makita kung may existing record.
  • 7. 06/30/16 Paano magkakaroon ng LRN ang nag-aral sa “Unregistered Private School”? Ang sabi ng Deped Order: May mga proseso ang mababasa sa Deped Orders 22, s. 1998 & 53, s. 2004. Please contact the BUREAU OF EDUCATION ASSESSMENT (BEA), Education Assessment Division (EAD). The certificate being issued from this office may use as basis of the receiving authorized school to register the learner in LIS.
  • 8. 06/30/16 1. Online updating of learner's basic profile and enrolment status through the Learner Information System (LIS) will be made available by May 10, 2016
  • 9. 06/30/16 a. School Registrar or LIS Coordinator searches and retrieves the learner record. i. If a learner record does not exist, encoder selects from a list of reasons the Grade 11 learner does not exist in the LIS
  • 10. 06/30/16 Reasons for exeption: 1. From School Abroad (encode also the school name and country where learner attended junior high school) 2. PEPT passer(encode PEPT certificate number) 3. A&E passer(encode A&E certificate number) 4. PVT passer (encode PVT certificate number) 5. From same school not encoded 6. From other schools not encoded - this includes public, private and SUCs. The originating school name shall be selected from drop-down list of schools.
  • 11. 06/30/16 ii. Prior to the issuance of an LRN, the record of the newly- registered learner shall be subject to approval by the Schools Division Office. (Planning Office Requirements: Covered Letter Adressed to the SDS and Attention: Planning Section, Birth Certificate, Form 137, SF1)
  • 12. 06/30/16 b. If learner record exists, or once the learner is registered in the LIS, Program (track and strand) per learner shall be selected from a drop-down list of program offerings the school is authorized to provide.
  • 13. 06/30/16 c. All enroled/ registered learners prior to the opening of classes are recorded in the schools' "List of Registered Learners" i. School shall have the facility to view the list of learners by program offering. ii. School dashboard shall also display summary of learners by program offering.
  • 14. 06/30/16 2. In creating SHS sections, the following data shall be provided: - Program offering selected from drop-down list that school is authorized to provide. - Section Name must be unique within a school. - Class Adviser selected from a drop-down list of school personnel
  • 15. 06/30/16 After a class or section is created, assign learners by selecting from a list of learners officially enroled in the program.
  • 16. 06/30/16 3. Starting June 17, 2016, the facility to finalized the enrolment list for each class shall be made available. The class adviser shall encode each learner's "Date of First Attendance." The "Finalized" action shall mark all learners with no Date of First Attendance and prompt the user to either provide a valid date or confirm the finalization. After finalization is confirmed, learners with no Date of First Attendance shall no longer appear in the class' enrolment list.
  • 17. 06/30/16 Learners with no Date of First Attendance will remain in the schools' Registration List until another school enrols the learner. In this case, the learner has decided to attend a different SHS. The list shall contain a complete list of learners who enroled into SHS but are identified as follows: - Enroled in school - Enroled in other SHS - Blank if not enroled in any school
  • 18. Reminder (May 30, 2016): Sa LIS ng SHS, ano ang category or status ng mga HS Graduates kung i reregister sa SHS (not Grade 10 completers)?
  • 19. 06/30/16 A. Kung ang learner ay wala pang LRN, select po Kung Same School (not encoded) nag graduate ng HS or graduate sa Ibang School not encoded. Send supporting document to Division Office.
  • 20. 06/30/16 B. Kung ang learner ay mayroon nang LRN pero nanghihingi ang system ng reason for “missing historical enrolment record”, select lang po kung Same School (not encoded) nag graduate or graduate from other public/private school. Send supporting document to Division Office.

  • 23. Log on to lis.deped.gov.ph using the School Head Account or System Admin Account Type the Username and password that you are using in the Junior High School
  • 24. Sometime after log in, it will display first this screen or directly in the dashboard, just click Learner Information System Click
  • 25. In the Dashboard, Click Senior High School Click
  • 26. SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL PAGE OR SCREEN
  • 27. HOW TO ENROL SHS LEARNER with LRN Click Enrolment in the menu Click
  • 29. Type the LRN then Click Search or if you do not know the LRN, click by Name Type the LRN here Click Here with no LRN
  • 30. After clicking Search, it will display the profile of the Learner, then Click Enrol Click Enrol
  • 31. Select SHS program After clicking Enrol, it will display the Basic Profile and Enrolment History, since the learner is Promoted from Grade 10, he is eligible to Enrol in the SHS Select the SHS program in the school
  • 32. After selecting the SHS program of the Learner, click Enrol Click
  • 33. Please Read Click Enrol Learner to enrol another learner Note: The Assign facility in the Class Assignment is available on June 17 onwards
  • 34. ENROL LEARNER WITHOUT LRN Click Click Enrolment in the menu or Enrol Learner
  • 35. If a learner has no LRN, click or by name type the First name, Middle Name, Last Name, Birth Date and Gender, then Click Search by name Click
  • 36. If record not found, click Create record and enrol Click
  • 37. FOR NEW RECORD – SELECT THE REASON, AFTER SELECTING A REASON, ANOTHER BOX WILL APPEAR, YOU WILL FILL UP NECESSARY DATA DEPENDING ON THE REASON
  • 38. In this example is from abroad, so type the Country and School name, then the SHS program he will take up, then click Enrol Click
  • 39. Just repeat the above procedures until all SHS Grade 11 enrolees are enrolled in the LIS Please read
  • 40. HOW TO ASSIGN ENROLLED LEARNERS IN THEIR CLASSES (This facility is available on June 17, 2016 onwards)
  • 41. After enrolling all the SHS Grade 11 Enrolees in the LIS You are now ready to assign the SHS Learner who attended their First Day of Attendance (from June 13-17 and onwards) in their assign class. Those who did not appear on the said date are temporary enrolled. Not included in the actual enrolment. Click Assign Click
  • 42. Select a Class Or type a new class name Select the Date of First Attendance (June 13-onwards)
  • 43. After filling up the required data, Click Assign Click
  • 45. Assign another learner to a Class assignment, click Assign For Approval – LRN To be Approved by the PO, submit request letter and attached necessary document Click
  • 46. Select Class name Click AssignClick
  • 47. After assigning all the learners in their class assignment, Click List of Classes to display List of Classes (this facility is available on June 17 onwards)
  • 48. LIST OF CLASSES In the list of Classes, you can see Add Class (this is use to add class/s), Enrolment and Edit button
  • 49. It will display the List of Learner in a class if you click Enrolment Button It will display the Update Class if you click Edit Button (in here you can change the name of a class)
