SHAH WALI ULLAH
 Qutb-ud-din Ahmad, popularly known as shah
Wali Allah.
 Was born in 1114/1703.
 Shah wahi Ullah a great saint, thinker, Muhadis,
theologian, translator, scholar and reformer.
 Shah Wali Ullah received his early education in
spiritualism and mysticism from his father.
 He received education in Tafsir, Hadis and
acquired spiritual discipline.
 He also studied metaphysics, logic and Ilm-ul-
kalam.
 His father transferred the Bulla and Irshad to
him at his death bed and said “his hand is my
hand”.
 In the year 1731 he went to Arabia for higher
studies and performing Haj.
 Studying hadith and Fiqha under such
distinguished scholars as Abu tahiral al- Kurdi al-
Madaini. Wafq Allah al-Makkin and Taj al-Din al-
Qall.
 During his stay at makkah Shah Wali Ullah saw a
vision.

 According to him the real source of knowledge is
Revealed knowledge, and all other knowledge
originate from it.
 Shah Wali Ullah attached great importance to the
reign of Ijtehad,
 To give awareness about the relationship between
God and man and universe.
 To develop the ability among student to conjure
the universe.
 To give knowledge about the establishment and
development of the society.
 To give awareness about the relationship between
individual and society.
 To develop an ability of self-realization.
 To give student the training of social ethics and
social responsibilities.
 To create the feeling of co-operation and
sympathy among student.
 To make student patriotic.
 To develop such awareness that the student could
understand the international relationship and
think without considering the color, race and
language.
 To make students responsible citizens.
 To enable students to digress the weakness of
society (wrong deed of the society) and try to
control or vanish. These weaknesses or wrong
deeds.
 To develop a desire to obey GOD.
 He was a great educationist.
 He was interested in Hadith.
 Known as MUHADITH.
 First to translate the Holy Quran.

Shah wali allah

  • 3.  Qutb-ud-din Ahmad, popularly known as shah Wali Allah.  Was born in 1114/1703.  Shah wahi Ullah a great saint, thinker, Muhadis, theologian, translator, scholar and reformer.
  • 4.  Shah Wali Ullah received his early education in spiritualism and mysticism from his father.  He received education in Tafsir, Hadis and acquired spiritual discipline.  He also studied metaphysics, logic and Ilm-ul- kalam.  His father transferred the Bulla and Irshad to him at his death bed and said “his hand is my hand”.
  • 5.  In the year 1731 he went to Arabia for higher studies and performing Haj.  Studying hadith and Fiqha under such distinguished scholars as Abu tahiral al- Kurdi al- Madaini. Wafq Allah al-Makkin and Taj al-Din al- Qall.  During his stay at makkah Shah Wali Ullah saw a vision.
