Allama Iqbal
Allama Iqbal Famous
Allama Iqbal was a poet, philosopher and politician, as well as academic, barrister, and
scholar in British India who is widely regarded as having inspired the Pakistan movement. He
is considered one of the most important figures in Urdu literature, with literacy work in both
the Urdu and Persian language.
Early life
He was born at Sialkot on November 9, 1877. Here he got his early education. He passed his
matriculation in 1893. Intermediate from Scotch Mission High school, Sialkot in
1895.Receive B.A., second division in 1897.Being to study Philosophy with Prof. Thomas
Arnold in 1898.Recived M.A. in philosophy, third division; get gold medal since he is the
only successful candidate in M.Phil in 1899. Becomes Ass’t. Prof. of Philosophy and English
Literature, Government college, Lahore in 1903. Awarded doctorate in philosophy by
University of Munich in 1907. Dies in Lahore: Buried next to Badshahi Masjid in 1938.
Educational Method
Educational method based on the age level of the students based on consideration
of the period of development of the students, the Prophet (P.B.U.H.) suggests a good way to
educate. He (P.B.U.H.) stated educate your children by playing around the age of seven first
and plant their discipline in the next seven years and then invite them to discuss the time they
reach the age of seven-year period of the third and subsequent release before they can take a
stand for life on their own .

lqbal's concept of Khudi
Significance of the Self in an individual is the source through which we can bring
ourselves closest to the Ultimate.” Your nature is the care taker of the possibilities of life”.
“Dive into your own self, it is the very secret of life”.
Self activity
It's an open method that students can develop their self by doing something according
to their self. It means that self activity to looking for their potential and develop it, with a free
developing based on their students self.
"How long will thou abide under the wings of others? Learn to win thy
flight freely in the garden of breeze".
Learning by Doing
This method is appropriate with Muhammad lqbal statement that is: Raise the
observation and experiment method isn't only theoretical. It means that experiment method is
needed to develop the knowledge, while knowledge is not only theoretical, but also need
authentication and actualization.
Environment of Education
The learning environment is one of the factors that support the educational process.
According to Muhammad lqbal each continuity of education relies on the fact that the life of
a human organism is continuously interacting with an environment that is stable and complex

The Role of Teacher
Educators in exploring and developing the concept of education will have to review
and examine the nature of individuality and the environment. Muhammad lqbal found
individuality growth is not possible without direct contact with the concrete and dynamic
environment.
lqbal says that it is essential that the teacher the teacher should awaken in his student a keen
consciousness of their manifold relation with the environment and thus stimulates the
formation of new creative purpose.
The Role of Students
Students have a freedom to develop their personality and their talents. Looking
for their position, students are creatures that are in the process of development based on their
nature. They are need guidance and direction towards the optimum points consistently toward
their nature capability. Muhammad lqbal's thoughts in particular on the role of education,
students are stems on human freedom.
Conclusion
Education is always developing and always influential in the social life of the
community. From that it can't be denied if the education has always appeared a very actual
problems developed inside. All the problems that appeared heavily influenced by various
factors associated therein. Namely, educators factor, factor learners. Curriculum factors and
environmental factors. Several of these factors are never separated from the problems of
education. Therefore the educational leaders in donating works thoughts in finding a solution
to problems of education, not 'forgetting highlight and analyze the various factors.

Shah WaliUllah
Biography of Shah WaliUllah
Shah Waliulllah was born in 1703 at the time of Aurangzed rule in India.
His real name was Qutb-ud-din Amhad, but he was named Shah Waliullah because of
his pity.
His father name was Shah Abdus Rahim who was the founder of madressa e
Rahimiya.
His father wrote Fatwa e Alamgiri a book of shariat. This book become the law book
at the time of Aurangzeb’s rule.
Shah waliullah a great saint, thinker, Muhadis, theologian, translator, scholar and
reformer.
Education
Shah Waliullah had learned Holy Quran by heart. shah WaliuIlan had studied Fiqan Hadith
and Tafseer. When he was 17 year old started teaching at Madressa-e-Rahimiya after which
he went to Saudi Arabia for higher education. Where he was inspired by a scholar sheikh Abu
Tahir Bin Ibrahimnd. .
Impact
Madrassa- e- Rahimia continued to train student and was at very active in research work of
Islam. The translation of Holy Quran inspired the muslim to follow the right path. His sons
continued to teach after his death. His Madrassa continued to inspire people. He is known as
the father of modern Muslim. He died in 1762.

Contribution of Shah Waliullah
Religious Contribution
Shah Waliullah came back from Saudi Arabia to Delhi in 1733.
He started preparing students so they could teach other.
He asked people to give up luxuries and lead a simple life..
One the biggest achievements was the translation of Holy Quran from Arabic to
Persian.
Few Muslim spoke Arabic in India but did not understand their meaning after this
translation they understood better.
He wanted all men to be treated to be equal and not treated by his occupation.

Concept of Knowledge
According to him the real source of knowledge is Revealed knowledge, and all other
knowledge originate from it. Shah Waliullah attached great importance to the reign of ljtehad.
Aim of Education According to Shah Wali Ullah
According to Shah Wali Ullah to give awareness about the relationship between God
and man and universe.

relationship and think without considering the color, race and language.

To develop a desire to obey GOD.
Conclusion
Torchbearer for Muslims. Responsible for awakening Muslim community. Reformed the
social and political order. Continued his struggles till it flowered in to the birth of Pakistan.
