Analyze the Learner 
 My 4th grade classroom consists of 20 students, 14 
girls and 6 boys. I have 7 African-Americans, 5 
Caucasian,4 Japanese, and 4 Hispanics. They are all 
in an enrichment based classroom for higher learning.
Main Objectives 
 My students will describe the affects of September 11th 
after reading articles, looking at pictures, watching 
news footage, and doing individual projects, with 90% 
accuracy.
Day by day breakdown 
 Monday-Students will write down what they know about 9/11 from 
prior knowledge and respond to group members about what 
happened. 
 Tuesday- Students will learn about different departments that were 
at the scene to help the individuals in need. 
 Wednesday- Students will learn about the places attacked during 
9/11. 
 Thursday-In groups students will research any other questions 
they have about 9/11 and formulate the interview they will do to 
their family member for homework. 
 Friday- Students will finish their projects in the computer lab 
dealing with an interview summarizing how their family member 
remember the day of 9/11.
Use of technology 
 Our classroom will use technology of an Elmo for 
presentations, and computers to look up history facts. 
 Powerpoint presentations, care package ideas. 
 Show the Arts and Bots Robot made in CI 350. 
 A fire truck going to the scene of the twin towers falling.
