A desire to improve the local economy, and help the
environment by buying something that doesn’t need to
be shipped to where you are.

Q:
Would you buy local food (…) online to be delivered to
your house or arranged at a pick-up spot?
A:
Yes, especially if some economy of scale were achieved that made it more
affordable than traditional grocery shopping.
A :
The only way I would buy local food online is if it is the same price, or very
close to, the prices in the grocery stores. Also, the shipping would most likely
have to be free for me to even consider buying food online. However, I do not
see how online food prices will be able to compete with grocery stores,
especially when including shipping.

archive favorites and such.

farms, which are able to upload their crop yield. Users
will also be able to connect with others in order to sell,
buy and share info regarding their personal produce
growth. All of this will hopefully encourage buying locally
grown produce.
