We have to be careful when we are selecting a Text so that Ss could not be interested with the reading. In this material, it explains that we must work following two points: 1.- being carefully chosen to give practice in particular reading skills, in other words, being carefully selecting a Text according with the Ss ´ level.  2.- being accompanied by well conceived questions or other exercise, a few words, that we´ll have planed before and will be  according with the next activity. SELECTING A TEXT.
On the other hand, we need to look possible material for three points view: Readability. We must pay attention in the Ss´ level to check if the are capability of read. Suitability of content. We have to check  the conceptual difficulty and interest. Exploitability. We have to use the material in the correct form to give a big knowledge.

Selecting a Text

  • 1. We have to be careful when we are selecting a Text so that Ss could not be interested with the reading. In this material, it explains that we must work following two points: 1.- being carefully chosen to give practice in particular reading skills, in other words, being carefully selecting a Text according with the Ss ´ level. 2.- being accompanied by well conceived questions or other exercise, a few words, that we´ll have planed before and will be according with the next activity. SELECTING A TEXT.
  • 2. On the other hand, we need to look possible material for three points view: Readability. We must pay attention in the Ss´ level to check if the are capability of read. Suitability of content. We have to check the conceptual difficulty and interest. Exploitability. We have to use the material in the correct form to give a big knowledge.
