3. INTRODUCTION
• The establishment of Selangor Business School was in direct response to
expressions of concern and enquiries by the Minister of Economic Affairs
and former Menteri Besar of Selangor, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali,
over the absence of a home-grown state-run graduate business school in
Selangor to produce graduates who fulfil the requirements and needs of
the business, corporate and public service sectors and become value
contributors and leaders at all strategic levels.
• In the Selangor Budget 2017, Selangor Business School was allocated
RM5 Million.
• In the Selangor Budget 2018, and additional RM10 Million was allocated
for Selangor Business School.
10. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with CGPA 2.50 &
above.
2. Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA below 2.50 with 5
years’ working experience.
3. Diploma with Accreditation of Prior Experiential
Learning (APEL) which is a special exam prior to
entry.
