Our topic is supposedto be IRREGULAR PLURAL NOUNS but can’t talk of
that when we do not know what REGULAR PLURAL NOUNS are.
What is Regular Plural Noun? A regular plural noun is a word that shows there
is more than one person, place, animal, thing or idea. In other words, when you
talk of more than one of the things mentioned above, you are using plural
nouns. A regular plural noun can be indicated by simply adding an ‘’s’’,‘’es’’
or ‘’ies” to the end of the word.
For example: nouns that need only ‘’s’’to get its plural.
Nouns ending with ‘’s’’, ‘’ss’’, ‘’sh’’, ‘’ch’’, or ‘’x’’.
Nouns ending with the above letters, we add ‘’es’’ to get its plural.

With these nouns, we add ‘’ies” to get their plurals
IRREGULAR PLURAL NOUNS
Irregular plurals are nouns which do not follow the norms of the regular plural.
Some either remain the same in the singular and plural or they change in
another form. For example:
