Adjectives
• An adjective is often defined as a word which
describes or gives more information about a noun or
pronoun. Adjectives describe nouns in terms of such
qualities as size, color, number, and kind. An
adjectives modifies a noun or a pronoun by
describing, identifying, or quantifying words. An
adjective usually precedes the noun or the pronoun
which it modifies.
KINDS OF

1. An adjective which tells us
about the quality of the noun.
For example:
the blue sky, a big house, a square
table, a cold morning.
2. An adjective which tells us about
the quantity of the noun.

For example:

For example:
