• By seeing this, we as audience, can guess what sort of genre the film is going to be. It seems as if this film is going to
be a thriller/violent/action.
• We also get extreme close ups, which shows the detail, of disturbing things e.g. we see the hands of the man taking
his own skin off his fingers.
• The writing and moving images flicker from one shot to the next, this also gives off the genre. It also tells us that
maybe the character has some mental disability and this is how his mind is.
• The music that has been edited in is also very creepy which gives off the genre of the film.
• Overall what we see happening is unusual and disturbing.
