This document discusses Scribe's integration capabilities with Dynamics AX, both past and future. It summarizes that Scribe previously integrated with AX 2009 using .NET connectors, but now integrates with AX 2012 and beyond using the AX Application Integration Framework (AIF) and publishing services as web services. It also discusses how Scribe presents the AX data structures and services in its user interface, and how customers can extend the basic integration template Scribe provides. Finally, it notes that future integration with AX will focus on supporting more use cases and moving to an OData integration model for AX 7.
