Transforming our focus from
what they cannot do to what
they CAN do
9. Latisha Bloom (SSA):
“It takes less time to use the IS
system than paper.
I want to move the entire case load
over as redets come up and as folks
with extensions as their plan expires.
I will advise the same for other SSAs
as they are trained”
Tara Nicodemus (Director of
Quality)
“We believe imagine IS will support
transactional change that will lead to
transformation. As we’ve exposed
people we support and providers to
the new system we saw their reactions
and amazement” We heard from
providers, “you mean I’m going to be
able to provide feedback on the plan
as it’s being written? This is awesome”
10. John Martin (Director DODD)
“Imagine is a powerful change that we
can make together if we remove the
barriers that can get in the way serving
individuals in ways that really matter
the most to them”
“We are building a system of discovery,
planning and supports on the
foundation of common sense, respect,
empowerment and collaboration”
“imagine is a powerful movement; a
system transformation for Ohio that
begins now”
Matt Curren (IT Manager,
DODD)
“Once you become accustomed to the
application, this is really easy to use, to
navigate and to put the information
into”
“We hope that you come away with a
sense that we have made a lot of
progress over the past 8 months but
also that we have some distance to go
“

Data Integration
• Key to the success of the imagine initiative is the data integration as seamless user
experience to access their information(data) in real-time regardless of the platform.
• Integration between CRM data sources and Non CRM data sources
• Scalability to meet the ever increasing CRM user base.
• We need an integration tool to help us shield the entity changes due to the very
nature of health care policy updates.
• Need a tool to help us protect the integration data in case of a failure (server,
network and other..)
• Staffing
15. Imagine System Overview
Data Integration Solution
• We Sync Data across multiple Tenants (CRM Organizations) with multiple servers and multiple
Scribe collaborations from ongoing development tracks through QA, UAT, to Production.
• Our users can choose to send data from non-CRM Applications when they are ready to use a CRM
application, in Real Time. Furthermore any data changes in CRM are synced back to our non-
CRM applications according to the implementation.
• Multi-threading Message Queuing architecture has enabled us to scale w.r.t. the data throughput.
• Adapters adjust dynamically as app changes at run time…
• Other experiences with our use of Scribe
