 The word science comes from the Latin word “scientia” meaning
knowledge.
 Science refers to using of observation, experiments to acquire knowledge,
communicate, share or produce useful models that make human life more
comfortable to live.
 It is based on evidence, theories, methods and results which are authentic
and checked through methodology. It helps to distinguish between nature and
convention.
 Our whole system of science is based on mythology and traditions which
were questioned by scientist like Aristotle, Galileo and Socrates, etc.

 Natural and Social sciences are two major groups of scientific fields while
natural science includes biological lives while the later helps in knowing the human
behavior and society.
Both are empirical sciences and science makes our life more easier to live in a
comfortable way through computers, TV, useful drugs which increase our life span.
But we are abusing science due to its miss use.
 Pseudo science is complex system where no scientific experiments are
performed with evidence to support. Pseudo science refers to beliefs and practices
which lacks true methods and essence.

It is not always correct to blame science for destruction and damage to earth,
as it is man who is misusing science, as wrong in done by hand and mind.
Hence let us control the hand and mind before blaming science.
