34 Atmosphere: is a mixture of gases that surround the earth and are attracted by the gravity.     34 Atmosphere: is amixture of gases that surround the earth and are attracted by the gravity. Importance of the Atmosphere: 1- It protects the earth from ultraviolet radition. 2- It adjusts (makes it suitable) the temperature of the earth. 3- There are solid objects in the atmosphere such as: smoke and gases, these objects are air pollutants but they help in: condensing water vapor and falling rains or snow. Oxygen gas represents 21% (one fifth)of the atmosphere volume. Oxygen is compensated by photosynthesis process.
