school history of "Manuel Mejia Vallejo"
The "Manuel Mejia Vallejo" College, was born in 1993 as an educational
proposal advanced for new generations. It is open to critical thinking,
knowledge, research, culture, creativity and democratic participation
institution.
 The young of today requires increasingly bold a permanent job and the task is
difficult, but educators involved in its formative mission, we will make the
learner is the inventor of his own life axis by example and guidelines they we
draw.
 Many are the advances made by our institution in this short educational life;
in November 2014 we met the first twenty-year of work and we can proudly
express that we are recognized for different reasons
The school is recognized by…
 1. Custom accompaniment: as a differential element has left its mark on
many of our students and graduates who came to our institution in search of
affection and warmth
 2. Virtuality in the Classroom (TIC), has shown that even children who have
some sort of educational need, respond well to the use of the computer as a
real tool to achieve meaningful learning.
 3. The practice of Mandatory Semilleros every Friday between 12:00 m. and
2:00 pm, is another opportunity for each student, after six months to choose
the desired seed, strengthen their artistic and / or skills, academic sports
(micro football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, taekwondo, capoeira,
ultimate, granjeritos small, chess, dance, guitar, drums, theater, oil painting,
painting on fabric, clay, stained glass art, cards, mathematical thinking,
practical English I, English II practical)
 4. Emphasis on English, embodied in the curriculum from grade to eleventh
Transition and intensity with a time of 5 lessons of 60 minutes per week
(theory and practice), is another of our great academic supports, since an
early age, it is emphasized in the 4 areas own language: Listening, Reading,
Writing and Speaking. Now we have it as a second language in our vision 2018.
 5. Project as extracurricular Multiple Intelligences, allows participants, with
the help of the teacher, identify their minds to be channeled and
strengthened through the workshops that are held twice a week for an hour
and 45 minutes. A single payment per student per semester is done.
 6. Committed Fathers, formerly called right parents, teachers strengthens our
efforts to become the bridge that extends its hands with tools from
Psychology and Academic Coordination
 7. Seminars and symposiums. leveraging our expertise in everything
mentioned above, we have been giving seminars and symposia on School
Inclusion, learning styles, and multiple intelligences Tic our parents,
