Parents/Guardians,
This communication is to inform of a recent event, which occurred in the community near a pathway from
Forrest Circle. There was an incident where two students were allegedly robbed walking to school in the
Forrest Circle area. One student made campus officials aware and an immediate investigation occurred by
administration and school-based officers.
At this time, local law enforcement are investigating and students are encouraged to continue to be aware
of their surroundings, walk in well-lit areas, and when possible, walk to school with other students for an
added measure of safety.
Our students’ safety and protection is our utmost concern and priority. We seek and encourage your active
support in working with the school to discuss safety tips with your child, remaining observant of any
unusual activity, and reporting to school officials and/or local law enforcement any suspiciously-related
behavior.
