 Teaching approach: Communicative approach and Multiple intelligence.
The theory of multiple intelligences suggests that there are a number of distinct forms
of intelligence that each individual possesses in varying degrees. Gardner proposes
seven primary forms: linguistic, musical, logical-mathematical, spatial, body-
kinesthetic, intrapersonal (e.g., insight, metacognition) and interpersonal (e.g., social
skills).This School is founded upon this theory.
 Integration of skills: What skills will be integrated and how?
Speaking and listening skills are integrated, through different activities. Writing and
reading the students are invited to complete charts and write about what can they do.
 Materials and resources: CD - pictures - computer- photocopies - poster -markers

 Pedagogical use of ICT in class or at home: I will use the computer to
reproduce the songs and video
 Seating arrangement: The group will be sitting on the chairs. Children will play
and move into the classroom.
 Assessment: what will be assessed and how :
I will check that they understand the new target language through singing songs
and getting the students to talk about what can they do? Grammar and vocabulary will
be assessed through writing activities and games.
Purpose and warm up: (15 minutes) To start the lesson, get students into the
mood for work, establish rapport.
I will great the students and I will explain that I will be her teacher for two days,
Tuesday and Thursday.
I will sing a “Hello song”
And I will ask them How are you?
I will stick on the uniform their names to help me to remember them.
I will write on the board the helpers ´names, and I will ask them What day is today? And
I will write the date and the weather on the board.
The students will open the folders and they will copy

Warm up: (5 Minutes)
I will invite the Sts to imagine a jungle, then Sts will listen to and watch the following

I will revise previous knowledge:
Stomp, swim, jump, slither, swing.
Elephant. Monkey, bear, snake,kangaroo
Transition: Wonderful! Now I will show you a picture about
“Circus”
Activity 1 (10 minutes)
I will stick on the board the following picture and I will ask questions to elicit the
vocabulary.
Note: Last week the student watched the movie “Madagascar 3”
Teacher: Do you like the Circus? I like it!! Students answer with YES /NO
Well last week you watched “Madagascar” Do you remember?
STS: Yes
T: Great! So Who knows.....
Where are the animals?
What animals can you see in the movie?
What colour is the lion? And the hippo?
Do you remember the name of the seal?, and the tiger, lion, hippo, giraffe?
Students: they will answer the questions and I will write on the board what they say.
Teacher: Great children!!!! You remember a lot!!
Ok now look at me!!!
I will show them a new picture.
Is it Martin?
Students say: NO!!!
Teacher: Who is it?
Students: Gloria
Teacher : Yes ! she is Gloria.
Is Gloria a giraffe?
Students: No!!! Hippo
Teacher: Yes! Gloria is a hippo!!!
Ok now look again the picture.
Can Gloria walk on a tightrope?
Can Gloria fly?
After that I will show another picture
I will ask them the follow questions:
T: Who is it?
Can Sonia ride a tricycle? Can Sonia climb a tree?
Transition: Great Job!
Teacher: One, two, three Students: silent please
Teacher: Three, two, one Students: everyone!

Ok Listen to me! Now I´m going to give you a photocopy!
Activity 2: (35 minutes)
I will give them a photocopy with the following activities. NOTE: The teacher asked me
to prepare a worksheet with activities related with the movie.

They have thirty minutes, I will stay with them in the playground.
I will clap my hands three times and the children line up, so is time to go!!!
When we go back to the classroom they arrive excited so I will do the following activity
Warm up: 2 (5 minutes) With this activity I expect to relax the students after the
break.

Now your right hand on your left shoulder, and your left hand on your right

Transition: Great Job!! so now we are going to sit on the chairs and you are going
to work on the following activity.I will ask the children the following questions:

Cirilo: Can you juggle the balls?

Activity 1 (20 Minutes)

Well, now Sts will work on page 30.
I will show a ball and I will say I can catch the ball with my right hand
Teacher: Cirilo: Can you catch the ball with your left and right hand?
Cirilo: Yes, I can or No, I can't
After the students have practised with the ball I will invite them to work on page 30.
Activity 3: (15 minutes)
Now let's play “Mime it”
I will prepare cards with different actions which they have been working during the
previous classes.
I will ask the students to make groups of four or five, after that they will take a card,
and they will make the representation. The group that guesses are adding points.

The theory of multiple intelligences suggests that there are a number of distinct forms of intelligence that each individual possesses in varying degrees. Gardner proposes seven primary forms: linguistic, musical, logical-mathematical, spatial, body- kinesthetic, intrapersonal (e.g., insight, metacognition) and interpersonal (e.g., social skills).This School is founded upon this theory.  Integration of skills: What skills will be integrated and how? Speaking and listening skills are integrated, through different activities. Writing and reading the students are invited to complete charts and write about what can they do.  Materials and resources: CD - pictures - computer- photocopies - poster -markers -  Pedagogical use of ICT in class or at home: I will use the computer to reproduce the songs and video  Seating arrangement: The group will be sitting on the chairs. Children will play and move into the classroom.  Assessment: what will be assessed and how : I will check that they understand the new target language through singing songs and getting the students to talk about what can they do? Grammar and vocabulary will be assessed through writing activities and games. Purpose and warm up: (15 minutes) To start the lesson, get students into the mood for work, establish rapport. I will great the students and I will explain that I will be her teacher for two days, Tuesday and Thursday.

I will write on the board the helpers ´names, and I will ask them What day is today? And I will write the date and the weather on the board. The students will open the folders and they will copy Today is Tuesday 14th , August It´s Cloudy/Sunny/ or...... I feel ......................... When they finish copying I will say “Please Close your copybooks” and pay attention, please! Let´s watch a video about animals and what can they do!   • 4. Transition: Wonderful! Now I will show you a picture about “Circus” Activity 1 (10 minutes) I will stick on the board the following picture and I will ask questions to elicit the vocabulary. Note: Last week the student watched the movie “Madagascar 3” Teacher: Do you like the Circus? I like it!! Students answer with YES /NO Well last week you watched “Madagascar” Do you remember? STS: Yes T: Great! So Who knows..... Where are the animals? What animals can you see in the movie? What colour is the lion? And the hippo? Do you remember the name of the seal?, and the tiger, lion, hippo, giraffe?
  • 5. Students: they will answer the questions and I will write on the board what they say. Teacher: Great children!!!! You remember a lot!! Ok now look at me!!! I will show them a new picture. Is it Martin? Students say: NO!!! Teacher: Who is it? Students: Gloria Teacher : Yes ! she is Gloria. Is Gloria a giraffe? Students: No!!! Hippo Teacher: Yes! Gloria is a hippo!!! Ok now look again the picture. Can Gloria walk on a tightrope? Can Gloria fly?
  • 6. After that I will show another picture I will ask them the follow questions: T: Who is it? Can Sonia ride a tricycle? Can Sonia climb a tree? Transition: Great Job! Teacher: One, two, three Students: silent please Teacher: Three, two, one Students: everyone! I will use this because they are noisy!! Ok Listen to me! Now I´m going to give you a photocopy! Activity 2: (35 minutes) I will give them a photocopy with the following activities. NOTE: The teacher asked me to prepare a worksheet with activities related with the movie. I will clap my hands three times and the children line up, so is time to go!!! When we go back to the classroom they arrive excited so I will do the following activity Warm up: 2 (5 minutes) With this activity I expect to relax the students after the break. Ok boys and girls ! Stand up!! Please!! I will ask the students to make groups of four or five, after that they will take a card, and they will make the representation. The group that guesses are adding points. Clousure : (5 minutes)
