With the help of Indiana’s Southeast SBDC,
a business called Trinity Dry Cleaners in
Lawrenceburg, Indiana, has recently been
launched.
The owners of this establishment, Linda and
Barry Mitchell, have been SBDC clients for two
years and created their company in order to
provide an eco-friendly business for their
community.
By eliminating the toxic and hazardous chemicals
typically used by dry cleaning facilities, they are
able to eliminate a health risk to their community
and improve their region’s environment.
The ISBDC consolidates many
areas of expertise in one

Jeff Mauck and Michelle Mauck are
founders of Mauck Towing and Recovery, a
successful towing operation in Borden,
Indiana.
These entrepreneurs established their business
after discovering that their hometown, Borden,
was 20 miles from the closest towing company.
With the help of Indiana’s southeast SBDC, they
launched a successful small business.
If it were not for Blayr [Southeast ISBDC
Regional Director] and the ISBDC, we
would still be trying to figure everything
out on our own. Blayr pointed us in the
right direction. She seemed to act as a
spiritual advisor, not just a business
advisor.
The ISBDC helped us focus on the long-
term goals of opening our business so
that we didn’t obsess over the long, slow
details.
