CISCO UCS SERVER/COMPUTING IS DOWN AT PRIMARY

• INFRA Admin will receive an alert from Client Network monitoring tool (NNM) .
• SAP Admin will receive an alert from Solution Manager .
• INFRA Admin will stop the storage replication
• INFRA Admin will update the DNS entry on the cloud portal with DR public IP or
update to end clients to use alternate URL .
• INFRA Admin will open a Support case with Server vendor to raise an RMA or
fix the server related issue .
• Once the server issue is resolved INFRA Admin will start the replication from DR to DC
and update the DNS entry so that client can start accessing the DC site .

STORAGE DISK FAILURE AT PRIMARY SITE
• Every storage disk are configured in RAID 1 , so failure of a single disk will not have any
effect to production as the mirror disk will take over.
• INFRA Admin will raise a support case with vendor and replace the faulty disk with out any
downtime window.
