1. 1 year experience in a project entitled Virtual Molecular Computing – Emulating DNA
Molecules, under Prof. Susmita Sur-Koley, Advanced Computing and Microelectronics Unit, Indian
Statistical Institute, Kolkata. The project involved identification of data structures and algorithms
to represent DNA molecules in silicon framework and emulate their reactions using C language,
on Linux platform (2003-2004).
2. 2+ years experience in a UGC Sponsored project entitled Artificial Intelligence in Bridge
Design, under Late Prof. Kallol Kumar Ghosh, Department of Civil Engineering, Jadavpur University,
Kolkata. The project involved development of software for a Bridge Design Expert System using
C++ and PROLOG languages (2001-2003).
3. 7 years experience in the PhD project work entitled Real Time Damage Detection in
Aerospace Composite Structures. The research was carried out under Dr. Partha Bhattacharya,
Structures Division, Civil Engineering Department, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. It involved developing a
signal processing and neural networks based intelligent system to detect damages in aerospace
structures in flight, in real-time. Implementations and simulations were done in ANSYS and
MATLAB platforms (2008-2015).
