UnitedHealthcare wanted to introduce new sales roles and improve their sales force's abilities. They developed an onboarding program combining online learning with leader-led activities and mentoring to train over 300 professionals with minimal time away from work. UnitedHealthcare also created a blended certification program with self-study, job aids, and manager-led reinforcement to train over 1,000 salespeople in consumer-driven health products. Additionally, UnitedHealthcare developed an hour-long webinar reviewed a new broker tool and allowed questions to train over 300 salespeople in one week.
