6. KEY TAKEAWAYS
• Task 1- malnutrition –The main focus of the Foundation is children who are malnourished or are in the red
zone. It was observed that that these steps have helped in strengthening the nutritive requirement of
students, facilitating proper growth, increasing their focus and reducing absenteeism.
• Task 2 – Tuberculosis - Tuberculosis (TB) is a disease caused by germs that are spread from person to
person through the air. TB usually affects the lungs, but it can also affect other parts of the body, such as
the brain, the kidneys, or the spine. A person with TB can die if they do not get treatment.
• Task 3 – Drugs abuse – The longer an addiction lasts, the more stress and strain it puts on the individual and,
while different substances have different effects, depression, anxiety and paranoia are among the most
common long-term results of substance abuse.
• Task 4 – HIV/AIDS – A basic understanding of HIV and AIDS can help dispel the myths, erase stigma,
prevent virus transmission, and save lives — beginning with your own . By damaging your immune system,
HIV interferes with your body’s ability to fight infection and disease.
7. CHALLENGES DURING TASKS (1TO4)
By addressing issues such as awkwardness, lack of meaningful work,
perceptions of incompetence, information overload, seeking guidance, and
maintaining professionalism. During these tasks assignment I faced many
challenges such as Lack of motivation, Distraction , disorganisation
.Sometimes network issues are the main issue while submitting assignment,
etc. Time management balancing multiple responsibilities,
assignments, and deadlines can be challenging, particularly during
the initial stages of an internship. For someone who had to shuffle
between doing school work and Internship, it was a huge challenge
for me.
8. ARTICLE – EXPERIENCE IN WORKSHOP
• The tasks assigned to me, such as conducting a
workshop on malnutrition , tuberculosis , drugs and
substance abuse ,HIV/AIDS, etc. in school, provide
me with an opportunity to develop skills like
leadership, administration, communication, and
confidence.(INSTILLED LEADERSHIP QUALITIES).
During workshop I learn many things and spread
awareness among students and society about deadly
diseases which was assigned to all interns in
assignments. These tasks are mainly focussed to
develop leadership skills, time-management skills,
administrative skills, confidence.
9. PERSONAL STRENGTH
• My greatest strength is my ability to excel in highly pressurized situations. I
have found creative ways to keep calm when working under pressure, for
example, organizing my work more efficiently and getting the MOST important
work done during the times I am MOST productive.
• Your ability to plan requires time management skills, and being able to
prioritize tasks goes even further, incorporating adaptability, problem-solving,
decision-making, and analytical thinking. As an intern, I find myself being pulled
in multiple directions at once.General email etiquette and organization are a
great base for me to bring into the workplace as I can begin my projects and
learning easily.
10. ACKNOWLEDGED WEAKNESS
•My biggest weakness in the social internship program was that
I was not able to make PPT and I came to know about this
from my teacher coordinator Dr. Sushma Singh and I was not
able to do public speaking.
•Interns can make the most of their internship experiences. But
Remember, every challenge is an opportunity for growth and
learning.
11. OPPORTUNITY
• Am grateful to be a part of such internship program that will provide me
practical learning experience and help me to develop my skills and
personality . I am also thankful to my teacher coordinator Dr . Sushma singh
and director of education, Delhi as well as The Ladli Foundation for this
great initiative Towards successful and prosperous future growth of children.
• These internships can lead to the development of teaching and mentoring
skills and create a deep sense of accomplishment. Social internships have the
power to shape a student’s career in profound ways. They offer opportunities
for skill development, purpose-driven work, networking, and resume
enhancement.
12. THREATS
•I always had a threat that even after completing the
internship properly, I would not get the certificate.
But when the certificate came after completing 1
month of work, this threat was overcome. And it
was because of my teacher coordinator or my hard
work. It has happened. I believe that if you do any
work with complete devotion, you will definitely get
its reward.
