3. INTRODUCTION
An exclusive action research based social internship program has been
framed by Ladli foundation for the students of class -11th standard. This is
the social work internship provide us the opportunity to connect and
integrate social work theory and practice in real world settings. This program
encourages us to contribute to positive change in our immediate
communities, promoting sense of local responsibility and global citizenship.
This innovative social initiatives to provide equitable healthcare, education
and life skills to uplift vulnerable women. This program aware us about the
social problems faced by many people so that we can help them to
overcome. The program is jointly run by Directorate of Education Delhi and
Ladli Foundation.

4. BLOG POST
After doing my first workshop successfully. I
was very happy when I got my first vedio of
workshop I shared it with my family
members they were also very happy the best
moment of my experience was when my
father said “I am proud of you” these lines
stuck in my heart and mind always whenever
I remember my social internship experience
this was the happiest moment.

5. KEY LEARNINGS:-
We have learnt many things in social internship program we learnt the process of making
PPT. This internship leads to the development of mentoring skills and create a deep sense
of accomplishment.It increased my knowledge about many diseases. I learned how to
communicateand build bonds with the people I worked with. I learned how to introduce
myself , talk about my interest, knowledge and skills with other people as well as how to
ask questions and gain a better understanding of topics. I learned the importance of
better communicationin our life. It enhance my confidence level . This internship
provided skills such as multitasking which will help to make sharp my mind . It develop
the thinking process and how to manage time. This motivate me and develop leadership
skills . It provide me the importance of network in our life.,

6. IMPACTS:-
The social internship program has changed my perspectives by exposing me to
new experience, diverse communities and real world challenges. It allowed me
to gain deeper understanding of social issue ,empathy for others and it led my
personal growth, increase awareness among peoples about many issues like
Tuberculosis, Drugs and addiction, Malnutrition and Hiv- aids. It enhanced more
open minded outlook on life taking a social internship boost my confidence level
and develop my communicationskills. It increased my motivation to contribute
in this program and manage my time . This program develop my thinking skills. It
gave me information about many social networking sites.

7. KEY TAKEAWAYS:-
There are plenty of takeaways from the internship. From the first task which is
Malnutrition I have leant the importance of sufficient nutrition in our body and I gain
the knowledge about malnutrition so, that we can aware people to complete the
nutrition needs of their body. From the second task I have learnt about the disease
named Tuberculosis which caused to death of people. It enhanced my knowledge that
how to prevent and know to treat this disease. From the third task I knew a major
treatment and symptoms of HIV-AIDS. It enhanced my knowledge about HIV and make
how they can cure it . From the task 4 I understand how the people become addicted
towards drug and substances. This task provide me information how to deal with The
drugs addiction person and how to help them to overcome.

8. CHALLENGES:-
I have faced many challenges during these tasks activity. At first I didn’t know how
to make PPT and which app have been used to make report. I have lack of
knowledge about the tasks and have difficulty in collecting information about it.
There is most critical challenge I have faced is network problems While submitting
the report. I submitted the workshop report on PPT ,I did not know report should
be on MS world my coordinator asked me to do so. So I had to make first report
two times and it takes high time. I have lack of confidence that’s why I can’t talk in
front of more people easily while doing workshop for the first time my hands are
trembling and stuck in the middle of the workshop at the end time management is
also a challenge for doing task during school work and school projects. I managed
my time accordingly and complete my task successfully.

9. EXPERIENCE IN
WORKSHOP:-
The workshop was a part of the social internship program. My coordinator helped me
to conduct a workshop to aware people about social issues. My coordinator decided a
particular period and time to conduct workshop with different classes We had a
particular room in which all interns conducted workshop the class came and sit than I
introduce myself and started the topic of the workshop student made my vedio. When I
was conducting my first workshop my body was trembling too much . I was afraid lot
how could I conduct the workshop. But finally I finished my topic and my coordinator
motivated me and enhanced my confidence level after that students asked questions I
explained it to them. At last everyone really appreciated me and I was happy to do
workshop successfully it was a great experience.

10. STRENGTH:-
During the internship I have discovered my personal strengths like :-it can develop my
communication skills during the workshop. This improves mystate of mind in being positive and
willing to hard work and learn as much as possible. Maintain an adaptability to handle different
challenges in a fast-paced or continuously changing environment I found more self discipline in
me. Time managementstrength help me to complete tasks by or before deadline. Through this
internship I lean the leadership and confidence to accept new responsibilities. The strength of
critical thinking is increased to complete assignments in unique thoughts and improve my
problem solving abilities, develop myinterpersonal skills like:- listening and understanding
others, shewing respect and awaring people for better thinking communities. This turn my
awkwardness into confidence.

11. WEAKNESSES:-
I have joined late in this social internship program so there are many hurdles that I have
faced during the tasks. Such issues are awkwardness I feel very awkward while doing
workshop, lack of confidence , I did not had information and knowledge about the
various topics . I didn’t know on which app we can make PPT and report it created many
problems. I didn’t feel confident for asking questions. There is lack of time management
Because of school work. I was not skilled at delegating tasks. I was disorganised during
tasks , unfamiliar with other interns, need more experience from others which I didn’t
ask anyone. Fear of not completing task on time.
But some how with the help of all the members of the program and my family I could
addressed them successfully.

12. OPPORTUNITIES:-
First of all, the Directorate of Education and Ladli Foundation gave me the
opportunity so I involve in this social internship program. Which developed my
skills and I gained valuable experience. This could include projects, mentorship
opportunities and networking events. Identifying these opportunities helped me
to create a plan to support my growth and maximize my potential. My family
also gave me a golden opportunity though late but I am very grateful to them.

13. THREATS:-
In the starting of this program I didn’t understand in it. But when I saw others
how they gained knowledge and enjoy doing those tasks. I am getting interested
in it and I joined this program in NOVEMBER. I have many threats these are:-
lack of resources,external factors, how I submit the assignments on time . How
my family react when I ask to join this program. Lack of knowledge. I use to gain
information from my friends who are doing this internship from starting and my
father helped me to make PPT and report. My coordinator motivated me a lot I
can do this internship. So, I could managed my time to complete assignmentson
time and manage my other subjects work.
