Arrest bleeding of any kind from
body.
If hard of breathing is noticed in the
victim, then artificial respiration should
be induced.
Loosen the garments and make the
patient feel comfortable
Direct a jet of cold water on the
person engulfed in fire
Make the affected person to relax in an
airy place and take rest.
If poison had been consumed, administer
orally salt water so that vomiting place
and the stomach is emptied.
 Care should be taken not to touch it with hands
 The area of skin burnt should be cooled either
by pouring cold water gently or covering with a
cloth soaked in cold water.
 As inflammation generally occurs within a short
time ,jewels like rings , bangles. Should be
removed immediately or otherwise they will get
tightented.
 The part of body with burn should be held little
higher and covered with a gauzed bandage cloth
after placing a layer of cotton rinsed in an
antiseptic solution.
 Keep the affected part without moving much.
