This document proposes a rally car tracking application called Safari Rally App. The app would track rally cars' geolocations and ensure drivers follow specified routes to prevent cheating. It would allow monitors to specify routes and track cars in real-time. The app requires drivers and monitors to have Windows phones connected to the internet to use maps, share coordinates, and receive notifications about routes. Key features include timing drivers, checking in locations, offline maps, generating routes, and a notification center for updates.

4. Many times rally car drivers have been a subject
of cheating through taking wrong routes which are
not specified by the rally monitors or supervisors,
they end up getting lost on the way or misled by
the routes they take to miss out on the finish line
especially foreign based drivers. But this wont
happen again if they get Safari app.[Solution]

5.  This raises the need for an application to track
down the rally cars by getting their
geolocation points at a time. It will enable the
rally monitors to specify routes for the cars to
follow and track down does who cheat by
using shortcut routes that are not part of rally.

6.  Drivers
 Car monitors
SPECIFICATIONS OF THE APP
 Both the monitor and the car driver should
have a windows phone 8 device.
 Both users should be connected to the internet
so as to use the maps and also receive
notification updates about race routes.

8.  Timer
To time the driver or help beat the previous time limits
spent between routes.
 Check in
To synchronize the geo-cordinates provided by tracker
with the centralized server that is also accessed by the car
monitor.
 Offline maps
To download the maps needed by the rally driver since the
internet can be unreliable at some points.(offline map
navigation)
 Routes
To generate and specify the routes between the
checkpoints especially if the driver is not sure about routes.

10.  Notification centre for getting updates for the
geo-coordinates of the rally car because the
displaying on map can be slow.
 Monitor (over-all) it shows specific points
where the car has been travelling on the map
by displaying location markers using pushpins.
