Details of Compliance Through the wide array of academic programs, students are allowed to major in business disciplines, education and teacher training, traditional liberal arts, professional studies and public health fields, natural sciences, and other areas of intellectual inquiry. All academic programs are supported by technologically advanced libraries, alliances with external agencies and organizations, numerous institutes, centers, and specialized educational and research services. X Compliance Discussion of IHL’s 120-124 hour undergraduate program mandate effective Fall 2007 Exceptions are allowed in Music Education and the Engineering disciplines (including computer science) Curricular revisions were accomplished through a six-month review of general education courses, major course requirements, and consideration of discipline-specific accreditation standards. The process, coordinated by the dean of the Division of Undergraduate Studies, was broad-based with each department providing input, and the core curriculum was approved through the Core II Curriculum Committee.
