Arabia land. In 1902 Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud ,an Arab
prince, captured the city of Riyadh. He worked
to take control of the city. In 1932,heunited
them under the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Members of the Saud family have ruled Saudi
Arabia since 1932 Abdoul Aziz Ibn Saud was
Saudi Arabia’s first king.

the Red Sea ,is flat ,often treeless land called
a plain .This area receives more rainfall .The
eastern side of the country along the Persian
Gulf, contain underground oil fields. This oil
provides Saudi Arabia’s main business. In south
most part of Saudi Arabia is a large desert
called the Rub al-khali, or Empty Quarter.
