Ahmadi and Shuaiba Refinery)
Job involved are site survey, collection of data from site, developing structural
details and fabrication for operating platforms, RCC structure and foundation
drawings. Pipe supports, structural pipe racks, Heavy equipment operating floors.
Coordination with related disciplines. Some of the project where I was involved are
listed below:
 Operating & Access platform for 30” bypass line and rerouting of 30” line in
Tail Gas treating unit in MAA refinery.
 Operating platform, pipe rack, pipe support, RCC details of sleepers,
foundations of columns, Lube oil, Recycle gas Compressor, Spill back Cooler,
Knock out Drum, Gland condenser, Nitrogen Skid/Bottle Rack for Unifier Unit
# 11/12/13 Independency/Frequent Shutdown (Installation of additional
Compressor Package) for Shuaiba refinery.
 Structural supports, cross way, valve operating platform and sleepers design
drawings for 12” IRT line for transfer of Hydrogen from Shuaiba refinery to
Mina Abdulla refinery, total length of line was 5.5 km.
 Operating and access platform for Provision of BFW exchanger in LPG train 1,
2 & 3 in MAA refinery.
 Structural supports and sleepers design drawings for 2 nos. 6” dia. Mogas pipe
lines from MAA refinery to Local marketing Ahmadi depot.
 Structural supports, cross way, valve operating platform and sleepers design
drawings for EOCENE CRUDE 16” dia and 24” dia line from Mina Abdulla
Refinery.
 Combined drainage, rain water discharge and pavement layout plan,
Structural and RCC design drawings of Workshop shed, gantry girder,
monorail, crane girder and foundations for Costal Force Building & other

facilities in Mina Abdulla refinery.
 Operating and access platform & Pipe supports for additional dry slop cooler
for RMP & FUP units in MAA refinery.
 Detailed foundation & Pipe support design drawings for chilled water supply
to Eye wash and Safety showers in different units in MAA refinery.
 Prepare fabrication drawings of FCC Unit in MAA Refinery for Duct supporting
Structure, Trestle support superstructure, T-Support & operating platform
structure, details of staircase, ladder, grating layout & Quantity, Details of
Hand railing, operating platforms, erection bolts sizes and lengths connection
wise quantity and Bill of materials.
 All the jobs include site survey, identifying connection points, preparing
detailed working drawings, MTO, pipe support schedule. Changing existing
drawings to “AS BUILT STATUS”. All the jobs were done independently with
minimum guidance and input from engineers.
