Paradigm shift in a Teacher’s Role
• The need is to educate the children holistically ;
• This leads to make the curriculum inclusive i.e.; integration of
co-scholastic area in the curriculum;
• To meet the above challenges schools started partnering with
service providers to tap their expertise in co-scholastic areas;
• A teacher’s role is no longer restricted to
facilitate learning within classrooms;
• In addition teacher has to ensure successful
implementation and mgmt of such programs;
• In the emerged scenario, School Mgmt
expect a teacher to be decisive & Multi-
tasking; which calls for teachers to be :
-a team member ,a guide to stakeholders' ,
- liaison with different service providers;
- eventually to ensure that the objectives are achieved ;

• The changing role inside and outside of
classroom is resulting with the following

Equitable attention to every child;
– Enable participative / interactive
learning;

stakeholders (viz. Parents, teachers,
colleagues, service providers);

Paradigm shift in a Teacher’s Role • The need is to educate the children holistically ; • This leads to make the curriculum inclusive i.e.; integration of co-scholastic area in the curriculum; • To meet the above challenges schools started partnering with service providers to tap their expertise in co-scholastic areas; • A teacher’s role is no longer restricted to facilitate learning within classrooms; • In addition teacher has to ensure successful implementation and mgmt of such programs; • In the emerged scenario, School Mgmt expect a teacher to be decisive & Multi- tasking; which calls for teachers to be : -a team member ,a guide to stakeholders' , - liaison with different service providers; - eventually to ensure that the objectives are achieved ; “Ready Steady Go! “(RSG) is the Physical Education and Sports division of “Sports Education Development India Limited” (SEDIL)
