means by which firms attempt to
inform, persuade, and remind
consumers, directly or indirectly,
about the products and brands
they sell.
 Marketing communications represent the
voice of the company and its brands.
 They are a means by which a firm can
establish a dialogue and build relationships
with customers
 They contribute to customer equity by
strengthening the customer loyalty.
 Marketing communications also work for
customers if properly used.
 They show how and when a product is
used,by whom,where and when; which works
both for the firm and the company.
 Customers can learn who makes the product
and what the company and brand stands for.
 Marketing communications allow companies
to link their brands with other people,places,
events,brands,experiences,feelings and
things.
 They can contribute to brand equity by
establishing the brand in memory and
creating a brand image.
 They drive sales and even affect the
shareholder value.

  • 5.  Marketing communications allow companies to link their brands with other people,places, events,brands,experiences,feelings and things.  They can contribute to brand equity by establishing the brand in memory and creating a brand image.  They drive sales and even affect the shareholder value.
