I don’t even think they give degrees in speaking.\n
We’ll get to that – plenty of places to speak.\n
Let me tell you all a little story about Axl Rose. He was always late to concerts.\nHe hated going on stage. The only way he could go on was to get angry.\n
\n
Military?\n
Kids.\n
Youth?\n
Bored people?\nLady bottom right – make me laugh funny boy.\n
Or tired people?\nThree people asleep.\nOne guy reading a book.\n

So much is made about Social Networking online, and that’s great, but people really want to see who they’re dealing with.\n
I have a place where I can send my clients.\nEvery March and September, I have a BootCamp.\n
Hard to sell coaching online. People want to resonate with their coach.\n
\n
The more you speak, the better you’ll be at speaking. You need to be able to hold a conversation to network.\n
Obviously, I now have people in a room, and you can’t get out until you buy a product.\nThose are the rules.\n
If you’re speaking about your products you can use that video clip on YouTube to sell that product, or at least drive people to your website.\n
We used to have a documentary team on tour with GNR and after almost every show the team would interview people in the crowd about the show – and what they like about it.\nWe should be doing the same.\nFootage is in a vault somewhere in Los Angeles, and boy am I glad that vault is locked up.\n
Your Fan Base.\nObjective is to have people talking about you, and creating site about how wonderful you are.\n
\n
I do small seminars almost every month in my hometown. New products, new material, etc.\nJust like the bands that do a smaller show before they do the bigger stadiums. \nTHIS ROOM HERE IS MY STADIUM.\n
I also have workshops where I teach How to do something.\n
\n
\n
4 A of WE events.\nA of WE tour.\n
\n
This is not my area of focus, but it’s a very viable market.\n
My first keynote. Someone called and asked if I was a keynote speaker, and I said, YES I AM.\n
Blessed to speak at other events.\nSpeaking Florida\nMaurice October 22-24\nAuthor 101 October 29 – 31 in Vegas.\n
Maurice\nAndy and Gina\nBobby Kelly\n
\n
Obviously, this is what I do.\nDrive all people here.\n
\n
James Malinchak taught me this:\nIf I compete with a marketer, I can speak about Book Writing.\nNow sometimes you CAN have the same niche and still be very successful.\nGNR Metallica Tour – 2 Hard Rock bands that did very well together.\nMy thinking is this – there are enough people in this world for everyone, but it is good to have a secondary subject you can speak on.\n
Audrey not only a great event planner, but if there is an opening for someone like me, she gets me on other stages.\n
Just Google Speaker Bureaus – basically get speaker’s jobs\n
We own Peak Models & Talent – Talent Agency, so we don’t work with speakers\nFind agency that works with speakers.\nAdam Ace – knows agents\nGreat BootCamp for Speaking to College and Youth market – James Malinchak.\n
Justin Sachs.\n
Go to other events.\n
Maurice will be speaking on my stage in March 2011.\n
The key to speaking success in my book, is to speak anywhere you can , and if it’s for free, do it. You will get seen, and you never know who you’re going to meet.\n
\n
\n
I pride myself on being really good at marketing, and I’ve been getting people to come to my seminars since day 1.\n
Big seminars only. Small ones you can do in your home town.\n
\n
Do I say that already? She’s that good.\n
Add videos, music, act like a goofball on stage, if that is your personality.\n
Cory Jim did my whole power point. The bigger, the wilder, the more pictures the better.\nThis is a RockStar Power Point – go see Cory and Yancey if you need help with your presentation.\n
Brian – great AV guy – do not try to do your own AV – people can tell, and there’s nothing worse than a cracking mic, or bad sound, \n
I always have a celebrity or two because it goes with my RockStar brand.\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Like I said – RockStars do everything fast. I think the standard session are about 1 ½ - 2 hours. I do those, but I also do a lot of 1 hours sessions. You call.\n
Everything’s already been done, and Bootcamps and seminars are basically the same – \njust be authentic and true to your brand.\n\nI bring a band in and play music and videos. And we like to have lots of fun.\n
