This document discusses ecotechnological methods for restoring river ecosystems that have been degraded by urban development. It proposes building platform riverbeds, dome-shaped riverbeds, and rectangular riverbeds made of natural materials over existing concrete channels. These new riverbeds would improve water quality, provide habitat, and allow for fish migration. It also discusses restoring connectivity between river sections by using funicular systems or flexible plastic pipes to transport fish over dams. The methods aim to enhance ecological functions and biodiversity in urban rivers.
