This document discusses methods for restoring continuity and ecological reconstruction of watercourses. It begins with an introduction discussing how technological progress has both benefited and harmed the environment. It then describes three ecotechnical methods for restoring watercourse continuity while meeting human needs:
1. The habitat basin method, which uses pipelines to divert water from dams to basins and reconstructed downstream river sections.
2. The accumulation lake supply system method, which builds lakes further from watercourses to supply people while maintaining continuity.
3. The underground lake method, which maintains continuity by building lakes underground under reinforced concrete supports.
