Jisc has supported the creation of a UK wide Change Agents Network to support staff and students working in partnership on technology enhanced curriculum change projects. The network provides a virtual and face-to-face forum for staff and students across the UK to share approaches/experiences and offer support. The network was created as it was identified that working in partnership increases the success of technology-led projects and delivers the identification of student need and appropriate action. Delegates will have an opportunity to hear examples of how institutions are working in partnership with students to identify and affect sustainable change. Students who have participated in the network will share their experiences and outline the benefits they have experienced in working in partnership with staff on curriculum change initiatives.
The network has worked with the Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA) to develop an award for staff and students working in partnership on change projects, the Institutional Change Leader award and this session will offer an insight into how colleges and universities are recognising and rewarding student participation in change projects. Participants will engage in discussion around this award and will be given access to the accreditation resources and materials, which they may wish to take to their own institution.
The network has also developed a guidance toolkit to support colleges and universities with implementing student partnerships, which has been developed from the collective resources of a range of Jisc, Higher Education Academy, QAA and institutional initiatives in this area. Delegates will participate in a group activity using these interactive materials so as to evaluate their use in supporting their own practice in taking forward student partnership working in their own institutions. Jisc's FE and skills strategic priorities and opportunities to get involved
Jisc will focus on three strategic priorities over the next three years to support the UK further education and skills sector: improving the quality of teaching and learning, supporting sector transformation to address financial issues and increase efficiency, and better managing employer-led training and work-based learning. Key activities for the next 12 months include raising Jisc's profile, increasing member engagement, supporting college mergers, developing an apprenticeship offer, and piloting a digital capabilities discovery tool. Opportunities for sector involvement include participating in pilots of the learning analytics and digital capabilities tools, providing feedback on resources for apprenticeships, and joining workshops and panels.
Working Group on Capacity Development
The Working Group on Capacity Development aims to disseminate principles and indicators for water governance capacity development, facilitate access to existing toolkits and materials, and partner with training institutions. Most members have experience in capacity development initiatives and there is significant uptake of the OECD Water Governance Framework. Proposed short term outputs include a survey, inventory, video, facilitator's guide and MOOC, while medium term outputs consist of a materials toolkit and capacity lab. Long term goals and questions for discussion were also presented.

Using a Microsoft Teams Group site to collaboratively support staff digital capabilities at the University of Brighton. The site aimed to share information, capture good practices, and answer questions to support flexible, inclusive, and multimodal digital learning. Over 330 members from various departments used the site, mostly asking questions about technology which led to broader pedagogical discussions. Analytics showed high engagement from July to November 2020 during remote teaching. The site successfully reduced pressures on technical support staff and hopes to collect case studies of good digital teaching practices. Evaluations will assess the site's role in fostering an online community of support.

It also provides staff and students collaborative spaces and access to adaptive resources. Schools can choose to host Moodle themselves which requires specialized technical skills and funding, or use a hosted version which handles automatic updates and provides support.

Since 2002 Jisc has been exploring the use of e-portfolio processes, pedagogies, tools and technologies in a range of learning contexts. Here in this workshop we will showcase the findings and key resources from this body of work, with a focus on the results of Jisc-funded research into e-portfolio implementation at scale, including the ‘threshold concept’ model of e-portfolio implementation, and findings of a subsequent study exploring the critical success factors for implementation.
A range of resources will be shared for participants to engage with, including the ‘e-Portfolio Implementation Toolkit’, which aims to enable others to understand issues around implementation and identify case studies that are most relevant to a their contexts; and video case studies showcasing rich examples of practice. Experience from a recent implementation story using the toolkit will be shared.

Physiopedia is a website that allows any physiotherapist to contribute and edit evidence-based information on all physiotherapy topics. It aims to be a global resource for the physiotherapy profession. The site was launched over 2 years ago and now has over 500 articles and receives over 1 million visits annually from 184 countries. Student and educator feedback on contributing to the site has been overwhelmingly positive, with students finding it engaging and that it enhanced their learning and confidence in editing resources for the profession. The document encourages all physiotherapists to get involved with contributing to create a comprehensive global resource for the field.

Ufi also aims to catalyze change by funding projects that explore new ways of delivering skills through technology.

This document contains an opening keynote presentation from John Hill, the Technology Enhanced Learning Manager at the University of Derby. The presentation outlines the university's new TEL (Technology Enhanced Learning) Strategy for 2017-2021, which has two main goals: 1) Ensuring all staff and students have an appropriate level of digital capabilities applied in the curriculum, and 2) Achieving a step change in the use of TEL by annually enhancing digital practice in all programs above a baseline expectation. The strategy identifies several "enablers" to achieve these goals, including executive accountability, institutional baselines for digital practice, agreed definitions of digital capabilities, data analytics, and digital induction.
