I have an excellent footstep in multiple project implementations in power sector by turnkey or EPC
contractor. Infrastructure development is the key of economic upliftment of any nation, without
which a country can’t reach to the goal of prosperity. Again use of trained/experienced human
resources for execution & supervision of development projects is the key of successful
implementation of any project i.e infrastructure development. Now I am working in power
transmission utility as an Executive Engineer (Manager) in the project implementation division. I have
a gorgeous milestone for role playing in multiple project which had completed. Our project
implementation team had completed a multiple project which amount was US$ 103.50 million where
we had constructed 107 km four ckt 132 kV transmission line (TL), extended of capacity of 5 nos
existing 230/132 kV substations (SS) (each 225 MVA), 4 nos new 132/33 kV AIS SS (each 150 MVA),
extended a 132/33 kV SS (300 MVA) & constructed a new 132/33 kV GIS SS (84 MVA). I have also an
experience on ERS system. Now our project team has started a new multiple project which name is
Matarbari-Madunaghat-Meghnaghat 400 kV Transmission Line (MMM 400 kV TL) Project. The
estimated cost of this project is US$ 731.23 million where have 314 km double ckt 400 kV TL, a
400/230/132 kV AIS, a 400/230 kV GIS, a 230/132 kV GIS & recruitment of consultant for this project. I
have handle several turnkey contractors like Siemens, ABB, KEC, CCC, Hyosung, Lg-Sejon, CCC-ETERN
& other subcontractors. I am a mid level key person of my organization. I can apply my knowledge in
practical field whatsoever has achieved from my completed project.

After graduating of my B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, at first I joined in Summit
Power Company Ltd on 01/06/2001 as a Shift Engineer i.e. Shift In-Charge of Power Plant
under O&M division. Its previous name was United Summit Power Company Ltd. It was 11
MW power generating station. There were 4 nos CATERPILLAR Gas Engine where 3 nos set
model was G3616 of each production capacity was 3871 kW & rest one set model was G3516
which production capacity was 1040 kW. There was 11/33 kV, 35 MVA power Transformer in
switch yard. I left SPCL on 28/02/2005.

My Responsibility in SPCL:
 Responsible for the safe & economic “Operation and Management” of the plant as a shift engineer
(In-charge of the shift designated shift).
 Before starting the shift operation, checked all machineries of the power plant.
 To check log book, shift diary what was happed during the previous shift and what type of
corrective measures were taken.
 During my shift, any trouble came, such as engine, radiator, transformer, breaker, LT switchgear,
that time initiated corrective measures & have to solve the trouble.
 Monitoring Spare parts, inventory control.
 Normally power plant was run in grid mode with the grid system parameters, if grid system failed,
then according to our power station capacity, one by one generator were started according local
utility requirements, that time generator was run by island mode according to local utility load
demand. If power plant frequency was lower that time informed local utility to cut their few load.
When frequency was very high that time informed local utility to increased their load. It was very
much difficult job to maintain system frequency because of less power (not larger power produce),
always monitor the system parameters. When grid was ready, then all generator breakers were
opened. Grid voltage & frequency were imported by 11kV switchgear through power transformer
and one by one generator were synchronized with imported 11 kV, national grid frequency.
