220/132kV Mangla Refurbishment (EPC) Project Package IX-Switchyard.
Key Works Undertaken:
 Assist the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising and controlling the
execution of technical, financial and administrative functions of the project.
 Develop the scope of engineering works, identifies and document changes in scope,
schedules and provide assistance in preparation of budget for assigned project.
 Ensure Client criteria and scope are meet by all engineering disciplines, as well as,
expedite distribution of action items following discussions / meetings with the client
and project team.
 Monitor progress to meet schedule and budget requirements.
 Interface with procurement (local or foreign procurement) personal to determine the
scope of procurement work and monitor the progress.
 Prepare Technical Reports and Documentation of project for client and project team.
 Design coordination with project owner and consultant along with engineering team
for earliest preparation of primary and secondary base design.
 Responsible for equipment design submission, approval form client, and
communicating with manufacturer for the Issuance of Purchase Orders.
 Provide assistance to project commercial manager to ensure project contracts and
claims (new or change in scope, cost and time impact.
 Made necessary arrangements for the Factory Acceptance Testing of the equipment’s.
 Hiring of third party contractors for erection, testing and commissioning of Primary
equipment’s.
 Reports any project issues to senior management along with recommendations for
resolutions.

1. 500/220KV NEW LAHOER EXTENSION PROJECT (EPC):
2.500/220kV New Lahore Project (EPC):
Key Works Undertaken:
 I was responsible for preparation of project statement of work or scope of work,
technical submittals including equipment data sheets, drawings as per project and
contract specifications.
 Assist Project Manager to manage budget by reviewing expenditures, payment
applications and sub-contractors contract.
 I was the main resource person for Electrical (Primary, Secondary and Equipment’s
Design), Mechanical as well as Civil Design Coordinator (design review, submission and
getting approval) with Chinese design Institute (NWEPDI, CHINA), National
Engineering Service Pakistan (NESPAK, Project Consultant) and National Transmission
& Despatch Company (NTDC, the Client).
 I was authorized to prepare sub-contractor contract agreements and MoU’s by
checking documents.
 Assisted Procurement team in Head Office Beijing China, in selection of vendors
or manufacturer, preparation of contract documents for Issuance of Purchase Orders
by preparing Bill of Material/Quantity in coordination with design institute and
shipping of material from manufacture work place to project site.
 I lead project team for preparation of Project Management plan, Project Schedule
using Primavera P.6.R16.1, Scope Management.
 Tracking the activities on Critical path, ensuring timely completion during execution
within allocated budget followed by quality assurance and quality control.
 Assist Project Manager in selection of third party contractors for Testing &
Commissioning of Plant and equipment’s.
 Responsible for factory acceptance test at manufacturer work place, report
submission and getting approval for delivery of material.
 I also managed communication between all the key stakeholders including client’s,
consultant, project financing agency and executives of the organization on monthly
basis by presenting project status reports indicating schedule & cost baselines with
variance analysis and putting change request in accordance with specifications.
 Responsible for preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) case and Change Order
Contract such as new requirements from the client or consultant which deviates from
or addition to the current contract documents / offered contract value.

ADB – 200 – 2018: Design, Manufacturing, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of
220kV Substations Mirpur Khas and Zhob along with extension works at 220kV Hala Road & D.I.

500/220/132kV Faisalabad West Substation and Extension at Existing 220kV T.T.Singh

ADB – 103 – 2017: Design, Manufacturing, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of
Protection Relays, Fault Recorders, Fault Locators and Event Recorders of NTDC in South Area.
Three (3) number of 500kV Substation as Subcontractor for Hyundai Construction
Engineering & Construction in Joint Venture with DESCON Company (Pakistan):
i. 1320MW RLNG Power Plant Bhikki.

INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS BIDDING:
Development Project Quaid-e-Azam Apparal Park Sheikhupura, (Project Client: PIDMC).
Key Works Undertaken:
 Act as a key communication interface between China head Office in Beijing and
Pakistan office.
 Responsible to analyze Instruction to Bidders (ITBs/ITTs) and create a brief of Technical
and Financial bid documents for the biding and project team.
 Create and update scope matrix regarding ownership identification and responsibilities
for internal and external teams.
 Attend Pre-tender and Post-tender meetings with clients, coordinate clarifications with
bid team as well as response from the client.
 Review design information issued at tender design stage and inform project manager
and bidding team for any commercial risk.
 Prepare and Issue detailed Request for Quotations to equipment’s manufacturers,
third party design institutes and sub-contractors.
 Preparation of Bill of Quantities of the Tender Schedule for Materials to be purchased
from abroad.
 Lead and participate in Cost Estimation process of BOQ schedules for Installation
Services Work and Site Civil Construction Works.
 Responsible for Bid Submission and Post-Bid Clarifications of Technical and Financial
Bids, follow up response from manufactures or service vendors.

Key Works Undertaken:
 I was responsible for planning, supervising, and executing works at the site according
to project specifications and drawings “Issued for Construction”.
 Arranging, managing, and accommodating manpower related to site activities.
 Preparing a list of materials required for site work activities.
 I was mainly responsible for supervision and managing requirements for the erection
and installation of the equipment.

China) with Local Control Cubicles and Indoor Auxiliary Control Panels.
 Two No. of 250MVA 220/132/11kV Auto Transformers with Local Control Cubicles
and Indoor Auxiliary Control Panels.
 500/220/132kV SF6, Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors (with and without earthing
switch), Free Standing Current Transformers, Capacitor Voltage Transformers,
Surge Arresters, Line Traps and Post Insulators.
 Installation of Protection and Control Panels, Substation Automation System and
Bay Control Units.
 Installation of two no. of 220V 600AH/10Hrs DC Batteries Bank along with 220V
100A Battery Charger Panels and Distribution Panels (220V, 1000A Breaker
Capacity) and One no. of 110V 300AH/10Hrs DC Battery Bank along with Battery
Charger and Distribution Panels.
 Installation of 11KV Switchgear, Two number of 630kVA Pad Mounted
Transformers and 400V AC Distribution Panels and 500kVA Emergency Diesel
Generator.
 Organized Site Test Plans, oversee the testing of equipment’s and prepared results for
Site Acceptance.
 Monitoring and supervising third party contractor for cable laying, tagging, wiring,
feruling and termination activities as per approved cable schedule.
 Performed Inspection of cable trays and ladders installation.
 Lead the Grounding Conductor laying activity as per approved layout drawing and
exothermic welding.
 Lead the Installation, testing and commissioning of 220V and 110V DC Battery Bank,
Battery Charger and performed Battery Load Test.
 Performed Installation of Control and Protection Panels, participated in testing and
commissioning activities.
 Responsible for preparation of Punch List, reporting for necessary arrangements and
completing the task for earliest clearance of the punch list points.
