equipment. Performed daily machinery rounds. Tracing systems and identifying potential problems to be
addressed before completion of the vessel.
PACIFIC DRILLING – Pacific Santa Ana
May-November 2014
• Motor Operator, Standing 12 hour watches. Performed daily thruster and machinery round. Performed
maintenance and overhaul on MAN STX 32/40, Samgong purifiers, Hyundai Atlas incinerator, start air
compressors and general service air compressors as well as thruster units. Monitored and maintained
vacuum sewage system. Start up and shut downs of Alfa Laval evaporator.

May 2013-April 2014
• 2nd Assistant Engineer, Standing 12 hour watches. Monitoring and running the refrigeration plant. Assist
with startup and shut down of the MAK 551 main engine and MAK 332 auxiliary generators. Monitoring and
maintaining R/O water maker. Assist in fuel transfers. High pressure and low pressure hydraulic system
trouble shooting. Metal fabrication projects using stick welding, TIG welding and a lathe. Notable Projects:
Installing low pressure hydraulic coolers, rebuild and installation of injectors and fuel pumps on auxiliary
generators, assisted with pulling and installing hydraulic rams, rebuilding sea water cooling motors and Alfa
Laval purifier. Also, removed the heads, pistons and liner on the main engine in order to take
measurements of the lower engine components.
