Feb 2014-April 2014 50MW GEOTHERMAL POWER STATION – Lihir-(10 weeks)
Position Held: MECHANICAL FITTER (Assisting Progen contractors)
Do major overhaul on 10Mw steam turbine # 1 rotor change out and other
maintenance work as required.
April 2014 50 MW GEOTHERMAl COOLING TOWER-Lihir
Position Held: MECHANICAL FITTER (2 weeks as leading hand fitter)
• Overhaul cooling tower fan gearbox
• Install new fan blades and adjust blades pitch angles
Oct 2013- Nov 2013 50 MW GEOTHERMAL POWER STATION
Position Held: MECHANICAL FITTER ( 8 weeks as leading hand fitter)
Steam Turbine no# 4.Remove out generator rotor and installed
New rotor.
Sep 2012-Nov 2012 50MW GEOTHERMAL POWER STATION ,Lihir(6weeks)
Position held as a Mechanical Fitter,(assisting progen contractors)
Major overhaul on steam turbine no# 4 turbine rotor. Change new
diaphragms, gland seals and turbine alignment.

• Service and maintenance of auxiliary equipments for 15MW and

Jun 2008 – Jun 2009 PNG POWER (ROUNA HYDRO POWER STATION)
HYDRO MECHANICAL FITTER
• Service of hydraulic jet valve for Sirinumu Dam.
• Attached with Rouna 3 Hydro Station Project Team in overhaul
restoration works, test running and recommissioning of 2X6 mw
turbines.
• Seconded to VATECH HYDRO Austria in the upgrade works on
Rouna 2 hydro Power Station.
• Service and maintenance of auxiliary equipments and any break
down
• Also take part on stanby duty for any break downs after hours.
